  1. are you sure you only have a cat back ? your r34 smic is supposedly good enough for the limits of the stock turby so provided your intake piping isnt sucking closed only your turby will fail in time. funny how you say your stock airflow restriction was pushing 10psi as opposed to something lower by half. You sound like you already have a larger or atleast better flowing exhuast than stock with the stock valve / gate setup registering 10psi. from reading here you will be delaminating your turbo's exhuast wheel at an excellerated rate. So you should hear bits of brittle ceramics bouncing around your car provided you still have some guts in it. if not meh would just become dust and fly out anyway. you dont get r&R ? While driving you get a noticable drop in power while runnig... hell you dont get a sound like your engy is arcing out through its coipacks ? miss fire from your plugs ? lucky bastard...... my s2 33 has 5psi gate with a 2psi hold on stock boost controller so it manages 7psi over 4.5k rpm.. dont know for 34 in this area... since i put a decent if not loud and droning exhuast i do make noticably better power and my boost is roughly 7psi with the stock control gear then roughly 10 over 4.5k. adding a 10psi gate with the stock controller would mean it would do roughly the same @ top end. You wouldnt think this would be the case that with a fixed gate and a controller made to bleed off an extra 2 psi worth that it would be exactly the same. The only answer I have ever gotten on this is the less restriction somehow does this.. without any form of explanation .. good like finding one on here.. I have looked many times without an answer.

    70-80k in jp converted to aus $$$ drive away. if we could get it here in aus for that price ... I would buy a brand new one... easy and im certain many.. many people would also. but 30-40% ontop + grey import status.. no thanks personally and im certain the grey import status would deter allot of buyers. hmmmm what are r34 prices like a month or 2 from now!
  3. I have the e-manage ultimate and the support tool but nothing else (second and purchase) car = r33 t s2 (active diff) model could someone post the harness part no I need to wire up the thing. Pref for plug n play loom. ignition issues for s2 still ? maybe an idea to cut down on questions would be to post the relevant part no's for each major model. the t's and the r's from the major series. if there is a difference ie 33 s2 coil packs list those aswell ? nice and simple to read would save hunting this hole thread... so far im a bit confused on what I need to get the ultimate in my car. i do know ill prob need to get the greddy firmware updates onto my lapy and the updates for the support tool would be good also.. i have a copy but god knows how out of date both are. so links to both aswell... sort of all nice and neat... that way we know what we need to do... il post pics an step by step install on my car so i am contributing also. doubt it is a difficult thing with a bloody plug n play harness though. under passenger seat ? long cable or under dash ? decision.
  4. crd = 750 no details of tune so far but have been warned about work done of them of late from various sources. hills = 490 >> 3hr dyno tune + 1hr road tune etc. so far its hills for a mile... had many good reports of them from mates and the uncle got a fair chunk of work done there a while back which he thoroughly recommended which put me on to them in the first place so yea... unless someone can beat that im sold. Was interested in helping me achieve what I wanted and also warned me about the mixed results of the greddy stuff and was pushing full replacement ie pfc. I already have the ultimate so meh il go with that until its no good to me. for hte power im chaseing 240-250 rwkw this should be sufficient i think.

  6. As the thread title says I am looking for someone who has done this particular piggy-back on this particular model multiple times and can tell me what I need and will quote me before install. I don't want to fry coils etc and I have no idea which ultimate I have purchased ie version so basically I want him to look at the thing, tell me what harnesses I need and can give me a good tune for cruise aswell as top endc conditions. I want your feedback but only if you have done this more than a month ago. recent install feedback are not wanted unless you have had issues with a given tuner. Time tells etc. Anyone else with an s2 33t and there are many of us but also have a Greddy ultimate installed ? experiences ? harness requirements.. ie coil pack issues with ignition harness etc..
  7. injectors and ignition are separate circuits. I'd say look at your cars wiring diagram but frist it would be in Japaneses, second.. the wiring would look like Microsoft code.
  8. sumitomo 4 pots front, 2 pot rears (pretty dirty but i think they were black once) nismo coilovers front and back (awsome) nismo body kit with genuine fake 33gtr rear wing, working tail light. (i getz all the chikz) custom fmic with shaped end tanks on a free flowing truck core, think jim's metal crafting extraordinare (my dad), pipping courtesy of some really helpful fellas out at horsley park industrial area. (the price was right what could i say) jjr front + dump, choice for a t3 1 piece > catco widebody ceramic 3" cat lukey hotdog into a kakimoto fartcan (type not described in english) (drowns like shit but sounds awsome @ 5-6k rpms jjr oil cooler + relocation kit ( to help prevent my 5-6k rpms pooling all available oil in the head) r33 whiteline suspension kit oranmenting my garage floor as 2 fellas out in the hills advised i wouldnt appreciate it till i ran the stock suspension around some... which im still doing a year or so later. (after realising 2 cars is enough for now they will wait until 3 is an option) air pres gauge from splitfire ( becuase it gave the chiks something else to look @ while they were blowing me) hks temp gauges in need of temp senders (becuase they were useless anyway - match my interior lighting well though ^^) greddy ultimate in need of wiring harnesses and installation and tune (some day i will want to be a little less behind the pack) new irridium spark plugs ( cuase im lazy and dont want to change them all the time) dried up + soaked in a layer of glue and elec taped coil packs (arking out is shit) some sort of ultimate brake pad that is so hard after 30 mins of hard braking i still have brakes but not much rotor left. plastic round gear nob (very exy but feels great, perfect size, like your home alone) massive oversized rear vision mirror to help me see the 2 blindspots better 18" shadow chromies that have a chrome lip that is always full of brake dust it looks matt black. on order: air box filter becuase the stock one doesnt hold my beer so well anymore. need: more beer to test more features of my vehicle under extreme saturation while im tickling its insides fixing something else.

  10. actually it (aerial) had a power led lead on the stereo, which is what "I" hooked up, it was my nooby to jap wiring stereo install. I cant remember exactly it was aggges ago but in the manual it said for elec aerials use this wire, which is what I did. When my switch is selected as down the aerial comes up half way when stereo is on and if i switch it up it goes up to full height. No matter what it always goes up half way if the stereo is on. Im going to install the leds into my dash and a few other bits an pieces i,e, custom mock up panel for my temp guages in the din area so ill have a look and disconnect the wire and see if the aerial only works on the swtch. Pretty sure I tested this wayback when but it didnt move.. memory doesnt completely recall. Guess il find out again anyways.
  11. +1 The r33 ariel going all the way up whenever the stereo is on... I mean why put in a swtich for hte user to decide if it was to go up.. im usually playing a cd an that dont need no aerial... pet pieve
  12. stock wastegate spring = 5psi, stock controller = extra 2psi hold... if your actuator was 7psi you would be incapable of getting the "low boost" 5psi without some weird and wonderful configuration with alternate gating etc... second... if you have boost creep of more than 2psi on stock turbo with stock gate / spring loading then you need to check your boost controller. no personal experience with the 32 actuator what so ever but in theory from what ive read sounds like it shouldnt be acting that way but id leave that to someones actual experience.

  14. spotted a fluro green murcielago and an f430 within 20 mins of each other on queen st bris while on a business trip.. made the day .. was druelling after the car... the owner saw me get floored as he was cruising up and gave it the mother of blips... tented the dacks up pretty well. ogled the shit out the lines an was slowly walking after it.. he drove into the lane next to the building i was going into.. gave it another ass caning rev.. made me get a little pre-cum an idled it into the garage... was a spritual moment for a fleeting second when i thought he was pulling over for me to have a looky close up... then realising he was pulling into the garage.. DOH! dream on.. pfftt... but atleast he let me listen to the thing.. it would piss most of with twats constantly staring.. there were some wanks on the other side of the street making burnout signs... just shoook my head an was rewarded with some hard revs.. god the thing sounded sexy.
  15. great idea, il sign a petition for an event or regular course but good luck with legal aspects.. know of any commercial or residential requirements up there ? doubt both being a reservation but it happens. would require allowance for the lowest common denominator aka ambo etc.. but sounds like an awsome idea that would never be allowed. but make the price $5 for a run.. its not that long !

I learned to ride on a suzy tt 250 @ the age of 13. that was a fun bike... im looking for a new bike but cant decide to go the trail an leave the road duties to my car.... Id need to buy that pos toyota hilux 4wd taliwagon and another bike for the misses which is a problem... excellent excuse to lump her with a taliwagon though. practical etc... sell it as a soccer mum style set of wheels.. she'd balk @ that... then when i role it up with a tray on it.... her face... choice.

  18. dunnoo reckon your cars prev owner was like mine.. a perv... liked the strip clubs with lits of tickets for them when lifted the back seat found rather small red thong. needless to say the misses steam cleaned the entire interior for me... after i pulled it all out. was funny.. you couldnt see it (the thong) from above teh seat but it was under it etiher... sort of shoved into the belt holes an to the side... must have lent it out to the son or something...... someone was getting it on in hte back seat.... not allot of room back there... the thong was REALLY small though.... forget size 6... this thing was smaller... wierd.. red an lacy..

  22. what in the way of universal will work... some inacuracy with regards to temp is ok... but too much and they are pointless... anyone got any ideas on universal temp senders that would couple with the hks temp guages ?

Wiring harnesses for greddy ultimate; Req for S2 r33 -t wiring harness and optional injector harness Two HKS temp senders, 1 oil 1 water, have the gauges just need the senders to wire in. seal that goes on the back of the gb where the tailshaft meets up with the gb.. looks like a uni but isnt.. Im sick of putting oil in my gb. **** the rest below here is helpful but I haven't actually checked these myself yet.. only having trouble with the above stuff. I have all next week off so its time to get the car up to the next stage and play some golf... A good plastic shop to make up some custom moulded holders for my 3 guages to fit into my din location... The off the shelf din guage holders are too small for what I have in mind. Cheaper iridiums? once my new guages are in where I want them.. the management is wired up.. and my oil cooler is in, il get a tune and be track worthy until my turby lets go... then the injectors.. fuel pump and new turbo will go in along with a retune.. but right now I just need to get my oil cooler and above kit in.
