    in the next issue, they couldnt work out why the engine suddenly sucked. they traced it back to the rb26 inlet, so they ended up taking it off and concluded that it DECREASED performance.

    does the boost drop when this happens? cause if it is compressor surge then the boost will drop when accelerating.

    what i meant was that relative to the running temp of a turbo, ambient water is cold. just like when you have a over heating car, you cant put water straight in cause it may crack the block. so im assuming that running water through the turbo at considerably lower temps than itself may cause cracking. but i could be way off.

    i couldnt read that autospeed article! it sounded like he had already made up his mind about the car before driving it. as if he has a chip on his shoulder that the car is not real sports car because it is 'trendy' at the moment. bullshit journalism!

    ive had a blitz nur, and even with a 2.5inch cat and the silincer in it, it still registered at 100dB. after 5 minutes of driving with no silincer, i would always get a bad head ache. like cerial killer said, theres no point doing something so blatently illegal for a small gain. just install a good brand exhaust and be done with it.

    220 in my alfa 75. took a few minutes to get from 200 to 220

    cause its running at such high temps it might not be good to run cold water through it. maybe it just needs water that is cooler than the turbo.

    hell, why bother with a pipe at all. may as well just have the flames coming out the back of the turbo. seriously, there are still plenty of exhaust that have cat, resonator and muffler and are still way over the legal limit.

    ok, car is back from the detailer and looking good. as soon as i get my arse into gear i'll have some more pics up.

    the ones that dont have them are personal imports. maybe 15yr cars too, i dont know. but all others need them. i think smaller are better. mine arent that bad but would prefer without. i think the key is that they line up with the GT badge.

    WHAT? dont make me throw punches! S13s are possibly one of the worst looking cars getting around. makes it worse that theres so many of them. they are potentially very quick cars though.

    i sold mine a year ago for 750 with 99% tread 205s stretched over them. and they were absolutely perfect condition. better than new. since then i realised why the guy was so keen to buy them

    yeah i always knew that would be the case. its no surprise that most of the people giving the car props are owners of r32s and/or modified cars in general.

    i thought it was more closely related to the 2835 turbos. power between 2835 and 2835R, with slightly better response.
