when gearing changing the turbo is obviously still spinning and compressing air so when the bov is open for that split second does it reduce the pressure to normal? or only reduce a little because it hasnt got time too? obviously it also depends on size of piping and bov. is the boost of a car including atmospheric pressure or on top of? if its including then even if a bov did return the piping to atmospheric pressure that means there is still 14.7psi of pressure in there.

i believe that the weekness in tt soarers are the turbos. they cant hold much boost in std trim.

if your looking at a gtr for 25k i dont think you can be that fussy about colour. youve just got to weigh up if you would get a white 94 or grey 89 for the same price. when i imported my car i was looking for a 180. and look what i ended up with. sometimes the choices are limited so you have to bid on all the cars that look good.

i just read the whole thing too dammit! btw, trufit exhaust installed a 2.5 cat when i paid for a 3inch. plus they tried to keep the straight through pipe that came on the car, and questioned me when i asked for it back. and the reason they have imports in there alot is cause they do the cat work for UPI, plus theres lots of import workshops in that area.

i said it before and ill say it again. buy local so much easier and there are cars around for your price that are not 89s. and you can check them out and drive them. i cant see how there is any choice to make. the only reason to import is if you can get one cheaper than here. and if its 25 for an 89 there and 25500 for a 94 here why would you look anywhere else. isnt that logical?! same price, younger car, and you can actually check it out.

if its possible it would be about 10500. cause im assuming it would be similar costs to bringing in a 89 car. and i just compared the fob to cars on prestige.
