i havnt looked in a long time but there never used to be an aftermarket ecu for an auto car cos the stock ecu communicates to the auto computer and there wasnt any that were made to do that

that bubbling sound is normal mate, mine does it sometimes, i think its just air being pushed through the lines

i know i would be more than happy to do that but im in ballarat which in guessing isnt anywhere near where you are lol, and since i have exactly the same car as you i think we should compare stuff like fuel pump voltages when cranking and stuff like that, cos just cos you have power at certain points it doesnt mean its the right amount of power

where are you located skydrive? im sure someone here that lives close to you will be willing to drive up and let you swap some parts from there working car so you can rule things out like ECU

it already has a safc installed and i just need the safc tuned so i want someone who is familiar with them and knows how to tune them

wow you have tried all the main things and more, do you have an alarm fitted to it or any piggy back computers hooked upto your ecu

if its all good it will be 5 slow flashes and then 5 fast flashes which means code 55

ok the procedure is on this page, you will see the pics of the plug under your steering wheel near the fuse panel, and it shows you which pins to bridge, you just need a paperclip or hairpin, what you do is turn your ignition on and bridge the pins for about 10secs and then remove it and the orange check engine light will flash a code

do you have a consult cable and software or do you know how to bridge the pins and read the flashing dash light to check your ecu and for any sensor errors

what alternators will work on it, like a 300zx or vl turbo for example, i eould prefer one that has more amps than the stock one if possible

can you hear the fuel pump wine up when you turn the ignition on before you try to start it?

i posted a heap of diagrams and removal instructions in a single post a while back, it was stuff i had collected over the years and some of it was stuff i havnt seen anywhere else before, it was supposed to help people and i had hoped that others would share any stuff they had collected but no one shared anything

hey my alternator needs replacing in my R33 S2 GTST and i was wondering if there is one with higher amps that i could put in as an upgrade, i want it to be a straight replacement so would a GTR one fit in and does it have more amps
