Hey im just guessing here but wouldnt that gaffer tape they use to temorarily fix up smashed panels at the v8 supercars work well, they could just tape up all round the bonnet cos that crap sticks real well, but as i said im just guessing here..

If you want to settle any disputes all you have to do is take a photo of the Rays LMGT sticker that has all the specs like PCD and Offset on it thats located on every rim on the inside of them .. Thats what mine had on them ..

Hey does anyone know 100% for sure what resistor to use on the airbag plug to stop the airbag light flashing and trick it into thinkin the airbag is still attached ?

another quick thing is that the airbag light on the dash will flash constantly if you remove the airbag wheel so you will have to cut the wire to the LED on the back of the dash cluster ..

If you decide to get an aftermarket wheel make sure you get a HICAS Boss if your car has HICAS or you can modify a non HICAS boss like i did. Yes its true about insurance but if you had an accident you can just put the old wheel back on before the insurance guys inspect the car ..

Mine and a few others look like that. I dont drive it much, to a shop or two and im not very heroric while driving it either, but my car does sound loud though, especialy when accelerating because of the damn screamer pipe on it, its very annoying to say the least .. What did he do anyways and i'll tell u if its me or not.

Not if you make up a new plate for the jack, nissan have one in the fast program, but i dont know if they will sell to just anyone.

there are 4 proper jack points on ya r33, under the sills on each side of the car there is one at the front and rear of the sills, you will see them if you look under the car and alont the sills, the metal is re-enforced and bulges out a little cos its thicker and there is a hole through the middle of the bulge, you can see where they are easily bu looking for the notches in the sill.. This is the best i can explain it, there is actualy a picture of the jack points in the r33 manual thats available for download.

Hey i seen a very nice white R33 with a silverish sticker on the back window on Skipton Street today.. I would have stopped but i was in a hurry home cos i got guys picking up my lcd tv for repair today .. Hey can i ask you all a question, i see another R33 and i think that looks sick, i wish mine looked like that, i think its because im used to looking at mine and when i see one in a different colour to me it looks better than mine .. Anyone else feel like that ?

Hey thanks for spending the time to reply, very very helpful information you have givin me .. Thankyou .. The TV is only 4 monts old so its still under manufacters warranty, and i also purchase the extended warranty also. Its just i got a bit scared when i read that if they replace the TV instead of fixing it then the extended warranty is terminated. But as you said, there not goin to replace unless the cost excedes the repair cost .. And in the event of replacement i will have the option to purchase the extended warranty on the replacement TV. So is that correct ? Cos i know the extended warranty doesnt cost much its just the princibal of it, whatever warrany is left, hypertheticaly say it had 2 years left on the extended warranty and the item is replaced i think the 2 years warranty thats left should be transfered to the new replacement TV .. Anyways thankyou again for your help ..

ah that was from my old thread .. umm for starters the yellow airbag plug may be different, i dont have pinouts unfortinatly, and you can also reset airbag with nissandatascan software which will alow you to check it and reset it without the need for the airbag light, the airbag light is just an indicator, it will flash up error codes when put in diagnostic mode, so the software way might be the way to go .. I can take a picture of the airbag steering wheel plug from my old R33 GTST steering wheel if you like ..

I actualy went the LG cos i wanted the in-built hdd. And yer i know i could have just got a HD SetTopBox with HDD in it but i just wanted it all in-built .. I would have went a Sony otherwise or a Samsung .. I definatly wouldnt have went a plasma, i dont like the resolution, but i love the refresh rate of em. Just about every one these days has in built set top box anyways, doesnt mean u can buy a sick external one and use that instead .. But everyone has there own opinions and favorites, thats what makes us humans right .. Oh and HypeR33 its writen at the top of the "In-Start" Menu ..

Yer i made sure i purchased the extended 5 year warranty .. But somethin i read on the Extended Warranty earlier today scared me a little, it says: If a warranted item is relpaced or a cash settlement is made under the plan then this warranty will end when replacement or cash settlement occurs. That sounds to me like if they replace the item then you have no warranty left .. Anyone know if thats right ?

Hey you should get the software update, you can request the update to be done on lg australia's website, you enter in ya name and crap or just ring them and they will contact a service centre in your area and they will come round and do it, it only takes a minute or two .. You should have S/W Ver: 3.17.0 if you have the update already. You can find out what version you have by turning on your tv and pressing and holding the MENU button on the remote and tv at the same time until a secret menu appears. There are actualy 2 different menus, one called "In-Start" and the other "Ez Adjust". You can switch between them by pressing and holding both menu buttons again while you are in one of them.
