  1. Hey im so mad at myself, i accidently broke the dash surround and i wont be able to live with just glueing it up. I have attached a picture of it and 2 other things i need but arnt as important. It has to be a R33 GTST Series2 Dash Surround and not a series1. So please if anyone has one or knows where i can get one please let me know. Also its for a GTST but does anyone know if the GTR one is the same as a GTST one ?

Hey i have to put the Airbag wheel on my car to get it roadworthy, its an R33 Series2 so i can take lots of pictures for you and help you with the wiring to get it working for you, i will also tell you how to reset the airbag computer which has to be done or it wont be working. All i require in return is a hard copy of the wiring diagrams you you have and any other wiring diagrams you may have. I collect all kinds of wiring diagrams and removal/dissasembly instructions for the R33, so i need a good photocopy of them, or if you dont want them anymore then the originals would be even better. But i will make sure i get everything working for you first. So if you still havent got it going and you need my help just let me know.
  3. No worries, glad i could help. It will still work ok without the restrictor, all the restrictor does is make boost come on a little quicker.
  4. ok cool thanks for the tip, i have the stock pipe so i can put it back on .. Does anyone know if Vic Roads will actually want to drive the car, from what ive been lead to beleive is that they will just give it a quick visual check over to make sure the RWC is good. Also does anyone know if a Bride seat is ADR approved ?
  5. I also found a picture in another thread showing the stock setup i described. The restrictor is in the short hose goin from the intercooler pipe to the T peice, make sure you have the restrictor in place. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=45802
  6. Ok this is straight from the Nissan Fast program, so thjere is no disputing it. Top of the boost controller goes straight to the wastegate. The bottom goes to the T peice. One side of the T peice goes straight to the intercooler pipe. The other side of the T peice goes straight to the BOV return plumbing. Thats it, 100%..
  7. Ok here is what i worked out on how to properly install the stock boost controller. First off there is a hose from the actuator goin to a T peice, its only short and it has a yellow band on it because it has a brass restrictor in it. From the T peice it goes to the BOV retuirn pipe. Then from the T peice it goes to the bottom of the boost controller. The last is a straight hose goin from the intercoller pipe to the top of the boost controller. Can someone please confirm this for me, i just want to be %100 sure. I mainly want to know if the restrictor is in the short hose coming off the actuator and goin to the T peice. I hjope this helps, im %99 sure this is right which i would love someone to confirm this all for me ..

  9. Hey thanks for that, makes me feel a bit better about taking it in .. The seat isnt reclinable, its a fiberglass fixed back race shell.
  10. from memory one of the lines was running to a T peice, also one line had a little restrictor in it, if thats not in the right place that may cause your problem. Let me work out what needs to go where cos im in the exact same boat as you, i have a dual stage boost controller installed and i need to put the standard one back on so i can get it trough RoadWorthy.
  11. Nissan Skyline R33 GTST Hey i was wondering if people here can help me, i got the dreaded yellow sticker the other day and it requires i get a RWC and then take it to VicRoads to get removed. Now im more than a little worried about goin for a RWC and here is why, well first off the list of nedded attention that was wrfiten on the sheet is Tyres, Horn, Park Lamps, Ground Height and Air Filter, now ive fixed these all up already but when i put the standard airbox back on the snorkle thingy wouldnt fit on because the FMIC pipe are in the way, i was told that im not alowed to have the FMIC on by the police and they said i will get a fine from epa in the mail and he didnt write it on the list, but i rang the epa and i was told that you can either have a FMIC or a Pod Filter and not both, which is why i put the stock airbox back on, so does anyone know if it will pass without the air snorkle thing on ?? Anyways i have a BOV and boost controller on and i still have the stock ones in my room so i can just put them back on temporarily and the same with a few other things, But one main thing im worried about is my drivers seat, its a Bride fixed back fiberglass one and i have a harness, its installed properly on bride rails but im not sure if its legal or not and unfortinatly i dont have the original seat to put back in it, i have the normal seat belt that i can put back in but does anyone know if the seat will pass ?? Also does anyone know if they will drive it when i go to get aq RWC for it ?? and will VicRoads drive it also ?? The reason im asking is because i have a screamer pipe on it and i dont reckon they will notice it unless they drive the car, i have the stock dump pipe still but its such a damn pain in the ass to change. Someone here must have had toi take there car to vicroads to get a canary removed b4, did they test drive the car ?? Anyways thats about it, there are quite a few other things but i still have the stock parts to put back on it so im good there. So if anyone can answer any of my questions i would be gratefull. Thankyou. Just a quick one, what would be best - EBC Green Yellow or Red Stuff
  12. Well it looks like no one knows weather to use LSD or non LSD oil in the R33GTST, ive searched this forum and everyone says somethin different. I just need to know if i should get a LSD or non LSD oil. Can people with an R33GTST please post what oil they use in there diff, and dont just say redline or castrol, that is no help what so ever, i need the brand as well as the weight, eg Castrol EPX 80w90 But i realy need to know weather to use a LSD or non LSD and an explanation why would be helpful. Also another confusing thing is that some threads here say to make sure that the diff oil u use DOESNT have a Friction Modifier in it and some threads say to use a diff oil that has a Friction Modifier in it. Its so confusing when u read something in one thread and in another thread it will say the total opposite. ps. sorry for all the questions but after searching this forum im more confused then ever.
  13. Because i may not be able to get the redline stuff so i need to know what weights to look for and if its an lsd or non lsd so i can just get any good brand oil then.

  16. Does anyone know how to properly change the power steering oil? Where do i drain the oil from? Do i have to jack the front end up or put it on ramps or anything to completely drain all the oil out? What oil do i use in it, do you just use autotrans oil, cos i have Castrol Transmax Z automatic trans oil, that i use for my auto trans, is that ok to use in the power steering? Do i just fill it up at the power steering resivore where u top it up? And do i have to bleed air out or anything after i fill it up? Any help would be great.
  17. thanks for that people, i just didnt know, i thought all had lights in them. SiksII that looks very very nice, nice job painting it and only havin the letters illuminated. Do you have a problem with this thread, im just not sure why u think it should be closed. If a thread has usefull information to members and people are still posting messages on it then why should it be closed? Would you have likes it more is i made a new post about it rather that posting a new message on an old thread?   18. I brought a clear rear garnish for the r33 from ebay and it doesnt have a light behind it at all. Its not just removed or anything, it actualy never had anything behind the clear plastic .. So whats the go with them, did they make some that light up and some that didnt .. Also has anyone modified one that doesnt light up so that it does ??
  19. Which RedLine Gear Oil do u use, 75w90 or 80w140 for example

One of the ones ive read to use is Castrol LSX90 But some say to use it for an R33 GTST and others say to use it for an R33 GTS And im pretty sure the GTST is LSD and the GTS is not, so shouldnt they use different diff oil. And im still confused about which to use in my GTST, a LSD oil or a non LSD oil ..
  21. Hey i have an R33 Series2 GTST and im so confused about what oil to use for the diff, ive searched the forums but different posts say totaly different things. Now some say to use a LSD oil and some say to use a non LSD oil, some say to use non LSD oil but that using LSD oil wont hurt it and some say just use a hypoid oil .. But lets get this straight, the car is LSD, when i smoke it up both wheels go so its definatly LSD. I read that its a Viscous LSD diff, is this correct ? And if so doesnt that mean i need a LSD oil and not a non LSD oil that i read on this forum .. Also what weight do i need .. eg 85w90 So has anyone got a favorate diff oil that they use .. Im looking for a name, so i can goto the shop and ask for some castrol blah blah blah for example.
  22. Just another thing, i read that u should get your discs machined b4 puttin ebc pads on. Is this realy necassary? Im not sure what condition there in but they carnt be too bad, the car has only 40,000 on the clock. Also how much would it cost roughly to get all 4 discs machined?
  23. Hey i was wondering if someone can confirm these EBC part numbers for a R33 GTST. Some sites i looked at had a "c" on the end of the red part numbers and some didnt. This is what i found, im not 100% sure though. Black Front - DP1200 Rear - DP826 Green Front - DP21200 Rear - DP2826 Red Front - DP31200c Rear - DP3826c and i presume the rest would be as follows Yellow Front - DP41200r Rear - DP4826r Blue Front - DP51200 Rear - DP5826 Also what do you guys recommend i use ? The car doesnt realy get track time or anything, but i figure it might be better to go for the yellows if there isnt that much of a price difference from the green and if they last longer. So anyways your opinions would be great. And also if someone could please verify these part numbers also that would be great.
  24. so u have a zr600 do you ... i need it ... i have 3 zr240 amps in the car and i need a zr600 to replace one of the zr240 amps. Would you consider swapping your zr600 for a zr240 and some cash ?? the birth certificate says she puts out 340wrms bridged, unfortinatly its just not enough for my new sub, but if 340wrms is enough for what u need it for then please consider it ..
