hey i can get a tenzo aluminium wing pretty cheap but it is missing the 4 mounts that you bolt onto your boot so that the 2 aluminium risers can be bolted to, is it worth getting it and trying to find the mounts?

hey is there any way of telling if a coilpack is a series 1 or series 2 just by looking at it while its off the car. I know they are different and the s2 have an inbuilt ignitor in them and i would have thought they would have had an extra pin or something but they dont so if i seen a photo of one i want to know if there is a way to tell if its a s1 or s2 just by its looks, there must be something cos the plugs dont fit eachother

hey i was wondering if anyone knows how i could blackout an r33 interior without having to get the whole dashpad and door cards recovered, i think there may be a special paint to paint interior parts but not sure about the actual dash and door cards and stuff, its a vinyl wrapped over plastic with thin foam inbetween i think it is so i know i could get it recovered but i wondered if anyone has had good success with the special types of interior paint, i want it all black

hey i was wondering if anyone knows or has put factory suspension from a 4door r33 gtst into a 2door gtst, i know that my stock ones were sold to a guy who had a 4door and they fit straight up so im 99% sure the other way around is the same but it would help me if i hear from someone who has actually put a set of 4door stock suspension into a 2door before.
-
sorry thats for an r33 gtst by the way

hey im wondering if anyone knows exactly where each of the ignition wires go and what they are exactly, White/Black = Red = White/Red = Black/Red = Black/White = these are the wire colors, i can test with multimeter if i undo everything and get to it or i can guess what should be what but i am wondering if someone actually knows what each one is without guessing and saying red is probably constant 12 and this is probably that etc etc...

hey i seen how there is all kinds of carbon fiber wrap out there now 2d 3d 4d 5d haha some look realistic but without seeing it in front if me its hard to tell, but i was thinking of covering most of my interior parts like shifter surround and door pieces and dash surround and stuff, so my question is has anyone done this and know of anyone that does this where i can send my parts in and they wrap them and send back to me, and does anyone know what the the 4d and 5d stuff looks like close up

i was thinking around $100 to $150 max if they are in good condition

yeah my tein height adjustable ones passed roadworthy a few times and they didnt say anything about them, but i was just after a cheap set of stock ones right now, already shelled out a heap on doing timing belt and replacing an exhaust manifold that had broken in half, so cheaper the better
-
good stuff mate let me know how you go installing them and if it is as easy as it looks and works perfectly once its done, at least you will know the cogs will last forever
-
i thought there would be tons of victoria members with sets of stock suspension they have laying around after upgrading to height adjustable ones

thats awesome mate, so did you order the tamiya sp-602 gear set from ebay or somewhere? I believe the actual order number from tamiya is 50602. but i seen them on ebay cheap anyways, so is this what your definatly going to do, in my opinion it is the best option cos the metal gears will last forever, but i did get a msg from a member here called firstgtst and he said he has an old headlight, he replied to a thread i put up on the wanted section asking if anyone had an old broken r32 headlight, i just sent him a msg asking him to check if the adjusters gears are good and asked how much he wants for it, i will let you know what he says, but i would seriously go for the metal gears anyways cos you never know how good secondhand adjusters are and how long they will last you

hey the stalks in my r33 are wearing the white symbols off them, anyone else having this problem? i guess its not important cos i know what they all are but curious what other people are doing

i carnt even get the bloody pan off, the car is only jacked up at the front so i jack stuff all room under there and i just got under ready to remove it and there is a metal oil line that runs right up against the front of the pan and is blocking me from accessing the pan bolts on that side, it has 2 brackets that goto the pan and i removed those 2 bolts and the line wont budge out of my way

hey my car is already jacked up and has the trany drain plug removed, now i am aware that this only removes some of the atf fluid and that i should have brought a heap of oil and ran the car with the trany lines removed and had 1 in new oil and one in an empty container to flush it all, i know all this already now but its too late. I only have 1 car and its already jacked up with the drain plug removed and i only have a 4ltr container of Transmax Z here, so my question is now that i have removed the oil from the trany pan, i will remove the pan in a minute and put the new trans filter in it and put the pan back on with a new gasket but i was wondering what else i could do to remove more fluid from it with the way it is now, i have an air compressor here so i read that i can remove the 2 hoses from the trans cooler and pump air into it to get that little bit out, but is there any other things i could do as well?? could i put compressed air into the dip stick tube? could i put compressed air into either one of the cooler lines that is going towards the transmission? would any of those methods push any fluid back into the pan at all? i also wana make sure its safe, i am worried about pumping in compressed ait into a transmission that runs on pressure, the compressor i have is a constant running low volume one. Any advice on what i can do to remove more fluid with the way the car is right now would be greatly appreciated thankyou

the pdf file has a easy step by step showing how to easily replace them, but if you dont feel comfortable then you shouldnt attempt it i guess, but it does look very simple
