  1. Hey i was wondering what would look better on a silver r33 gtst, clear side indicators or smoked side indicators, the smoked ones look like they are tinted black
  2. there is also a battery similat to the dry cell, its called a gel cell, im not sure which is better but i thought i would letr you know about it ..
  3. there are alot of little tricks like that that they can use to make an amp sound more powerful .
  4. not bad ive seen amps that are tested and rated at a 0.10% THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) which gives ratings that are realy bogus .. THD is something to realy look out for.
  5. hahaha, yep he sounds like a freak .. I like the doors though, but i wonder how long it would take before they would start stuffing up ..

    Stereo installers

go to GL PRO SOUND, they are real professionals, they will set you up with a nice system, ive heard that they are one of the best installers in australia. Check out there website http://www.glprosound.com.au
  7. i stand by what i said, it worked for me, and if you didnt start calling names everything would be cool ..
  8. DJHATTON - I can see where your comming from, i posted what i said because i found it to be useful in my system, i have one and im happy with it. So i base what i said on my own personal experience. SIKSILVIA your the tool, do you even know what a cap is used for and what exactly it does.. Your just goin by what others said, you dont know squat. I like it how you felt the need to mention Fhrx's real name just so that i would know that you know him.. hahah.. So .. Fhrx knows about car audio, not you ... Unless you have put a cap in your car and tried it, then why are you even putting your 2cents in .. Speaking about a tool, that would be someone that browses through a skyline board that drives a silvia..
  9. I have Splits, 2 Subs, 4 amps etc etc etc .. but not everyone has that kind of money to spend on a system .. if he put some nice 3ways in the front and some coaxles or 6x9's in the rear he should be happy ..
  10. you carnt tell me that you wouldnt put scissor doors on your skyline is you knew how
  11. would you swap them for a rollcage for an r33 ? no harm in asking ..
  12. Hey i seen a few things on ebay, they are just instructions and even though they say they are for an r33 and other cars i doubt they would show you exactly how to do them for an r33 .. anyways check them out. 13. where abouts in melbourne are you ? I like the seats, OBX seats are nice and they are even pretty cheap brand new.
  14. all we need is a clear lense that is the same diameter and then cut the face off the orrange one and silicone the clear one on ..
  15. they do look nice, i wonder how accurate they are for that price, ive been after an electric oil pressure and electris water temp gauges for a while now ..
  16. if your seriously interested in it and carnt come down i can take the sunroof out of my car and put it in my car and check for you ..
  17. as far as i know the back seat is still usable and the cage doesnt interfere with anyone .. the bars that go in to the rear of the car squeeze in on each side of the back seat. You are welcome to come down and we can assemble it in the car to check, we can assemble it without actualy bolting it to the car, so it wont hurt to do it ..
  18. i take it that the aftermarket one is an external vented bov. to remove the stock one you will have to make up a little plate out of 5mm aluminium, unbolt the stock one from the crossover pipe and make up a plate in the same shape as the flange and then use the old gasket and bolt the plate on, or you could just take the crossover pipe to an aluminium welder and get the hole welded up, but i just bolted a plate over the hole .. next you will need to simply plug up the return pipe up and plug the hose on the plenum.. i will take a pic of mine and post it up for you ..
  19. im still after one
  20. thanks for the offer but i have stocks on the car at the moment and ive got my eyes on a set of nice wheels at the moment, but thanks for the offer though .. if you have anything else you would like to swap for it let me know ..
  21. Hey i found these pics on a website.
  22. good stuff, goin for SQ instead of DB takes gutz, i admire you, anyone can through out some db but goin SQ thats tough .. It costs alot of cash and a very good installer with a good ear to setup a SQ car .. Keep it up
  23. there is the hoop section, thats 2 points, then there are the two s shaped peices that run down the a pillars, thats another 2 points, then there are the two peices that have an angled plate on the end of them, they go from the top of the hoop section to the rear of the car thats the last 2 points, so thats 6 points that mount to the car, and there are two peices left, one goes between the two s shaped peices and the other one goes on an angle between the rear two peices ..
  24. so has this, it has 6 mounting points, i supose its hard to visualise since its dismantled .. i may even assemble it in the lounge room for something to do and take a pic of it .. but trust me its a 6 point full rollcage
  25. interested in swapping for this http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=48735
