Hmmm it seems that I have aquired a very disturbing noise on the left side of my engine. Its especialy noticable on a cold start or when the car has been turned off for a while. Well how do i describe it ........ well its like a knock noise that is quite loudish and starts off about 6 seconds apart and then gradualy increases to 8 seconds and so on ... I notice the noise is louder when i rev the car hard and then back off ... its almost like there is a knock as soon as the turbo winds down, so im a little suss about the turbo .... I aquired the noise eva since my car detonated at about 240, im not 100% sure but at the time i think the boost spiked and the pressure in the lines ended blowing the hose from plenum to the fuel regulator off causing the car to run lean while doing 240, and melted 2 brand new platnum plugs and left me with this disturbing noise ... So after giving yo all a run down of my problem, does anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing the knock noise ??

oh they fit on a gtst ..... they just stick out of the guards... this is why im selling them ...

this might sound stupid but couldnt you just take the rb25det plenum to somewhere that does alloy welding and get them to cut and relocate the throt body to the front and weld a plate where the throt body used to be ... it wouldnt cost 1/4 of the price .... or is there more to it than that .. ie plenum internals ...

Hey i brought a 2nd Hand HKS cooler a few weeks ago and its got a 600x300x70 tube/fin core in it and i was wondering how much it would cost to get a bar/plate core put in it. Does anyone knows of a rough price and where i could get it done?

I am confused ..... On the list of P plate legal and illegal cars that is available from vicroads it clearly states that a nissan skyline gtst is legal to drive on your p's, im looking at it right now in front of me ... I actualy was told by a friend just reciently that the p/plate power restriction law has been removed ... I dont know if this is true or not thoe ..

Nah its not that im a cheap ass, in fact im the total opposite, like when i needed trans fluid i had to goto 3 different places cos i couldnt find some that was expensive enough ... I just didnt realy wana have to put it all back together to just drive down and get some brake fluid to only come back to pull it apart again ...

anyone ? ? ?

oh well, i was hopeing to get away with having to put it all back together and go get some fluid, but maybe i should.....

Attached is a picture of what im lookin at, i want to disconnect the brake line right behind the caliper but i dont wana waste any fluid because i dont have any to top it up and the resivore is only half full.. so i wana do this so i dont waste much. Well you can c in the picture that i have a one way bleeder kit, so im thinking could i put a clamp on the brake line and then undo the line from the back of the caliper and then when im finished painting and stuff just connect it back up and put the oneway bleeder hose on and pump the pedal a few times till the air gets out ? Would tis be the best way to do it so that i dont waste really any fluid ? Also should i place the end of the brake line up high when i disconnect it so that the fluid wont leak or wont it leak anyway ?? Any help on this would be greatly apreciated

I have one that im looking to buy but im $150 short and i want one desperatly b4 christmas and i wont be able to get the rest till after christmas.. Yer dave i actualy fixed the airbag problem ... After an all nighter on the net searching for info on airbags i nearly gave up when i came across the cure i was searching for.. THIS IS HOW TO RESET THE AIRBAG COMPUTER First you have to put the system into the diagnostic mode. Here's how to do this: From User Mode To Diagnosis Mode: Diagnosis Mode activates only when a malfunction is detected, by pressing the driver's door switch at least 5 times within 7 seconds after turning the ignition "ON". SRS will not enter Diagnosis Mode if no malfunction is detected. From Diagnosis Mode to User Mode: After a malfunction is repaired, switch the ignition "OFF" for at least 1 second , then back "ON". Diagnosis Mode returns to User Mode. If switching Diagnosis Mode to User Mode is required while malfunction is being detected, switch the ignition "OFF", then back "ON" and press the driver's door switch at least 5 times within 7 seconds. After a malfunction is repaired, return to User Mode from Diagnosis Mode by switching the ignition "OFF" for at least 1 second, then back "ON". At that time, the problem code is cleared Sorry for not posting this earlier,i have just been a lazy bitch..

Would you happen to know how to run the airbag diagnostics ? inasnt im interested in what you have heard about them
