Hey Lads
Bought a boost Gauge (finally) and I have installed the Boost tube thingo - to the nipple on the back of the Plenum... Currently running it around the door though. Bit dodgey - I'll fix it up later
Main question - Where have you guys hooked it up to the power? My only thoughts are stealing the wires from the light which surrounds the Cig. lighter.
When I hooked it up and took it for a drive - I got a bit of a shock, running like 14 psi - But it isnt that quick! Boost gauge possibly telling me something wrong? Would kinks in the line etc affect the reading at all? Also, driving it around normally (boost set to around 11psi) I find it hard to get over around 5 psi without slamming my foot down - most of the time it sits in 'Vac'. One more thing I have noticed is that with the car on - just idleing, you can hear air coming from the gauge itself. Loose line posibly?
