  1. Bought some rims the other day and after fitting them realised that the rim is hitting the caliper. Is there anything i can do to stop this. I know u can put spacers in but ive heard that they're illegal, unsafe and make ur insurance void. Its really wierd, i always thought that the offset detirmed whether the rim hits the brake but apparently not. How can i avoid this mistake in the future: (other than trying them on first)
  2. This ECU map guy seem way to risky for my liking. Put it this way, Say u pay 300 for the chip and put it on ur car and for some reason ur car has unexpect results like i did when i got mine dynoed. What are u gonna do then? He cant come and remapp it for u to fix the problem (say too lean) so u will have to chuck the chip out. At least with DR. Drift he tunes it on the spot and u know ur car will be running perfectly coz he will be tuning it to run perfectly. Considering Dr.Drift charges 500 (i think) for the remapp, i would personally prefer to get the powerFC can have it tuned by some1 like RE customs. U pay 500 extra but at least the powerFc tells u when ur engine is knocking, when ur injectors are maxing out, when ur fuel pump is maxing out and whateva else it tells u. $500 is cheap for vital information like this
  3. Item is in perfect working condition, put it on my car for a week but couldnt stand the noise. Its is soft hard adjustable, just by turning the top pickup available in melb, (located SE suburbs) will post interstate price = 180 or swap for 040/044 fule pump but taking offers Comes with an adapter that and bolts straight up to an R33, not sure what other cars use this type of adapter. Fitting is easy and as i said if uve got an r33 u will not need any extra parts except mayb abit of vaccuum hose, of which i think i have some lying around so i can throw that in too. For noobs, free fitting service, i will put this on ur car on the spot if u would like me to. PICS:
  4. So u'll do a straight swap for non-turbo manual r33?
  5. Im after the following bits: Battery, 18" Rims apexi SAFC or powerFC Oil temp gauge, PM me if any of these are available
  6. btw, if ur getting 1 that uses the stock pipes then there will be basically no diff in throttle respomse. I have a hybrid 1 which has much longer piping than stock and i only noticed atiny bit... and even then i think it may have been psychological
  7. 100% u should get it... 1) It'll make ur engine last longer 2) u'll need it later anyway if u plan to go over 200rwkW 3) On hot days u will notice ur car runs much better than what it used to 4) Less chance od detonation/pinging which is a very good thing 5) It looks fully sik
  8. I think this is a common problem, usually fixed with a SAFC or ApexiFC.
  9. I do, but i only have 1000 to spend, plus im in Melb, gl anyway, free bump
  10. I can offer u the following prices Rear end = (assuming diff still works) = $100 Tein HA (I assume for rear of R33) = $50 for both Stock turbo = $80 Rear bumber = $30 Back seats + drivers seat $40
  11. Interesting theory, ive never hear of this before. If ur talking about the code on the side of the ECU ill check it 2moro and post it up. I'll also check the fuel pressure on the next dyno run. I highly doubt the dyno is wrong, coz every single person i've been in the car in says is feels like a mid 13sec car, and i havent told them about 190rwkW so its not biased. In regards to what u said ROb, is there anyway of checking that this negative loop thing is happening on my car? And if so how did u guys fix it?
  12. Was wondering, could a faulty o2 sensor cause the car to run lean?
  13. if ur in melb ill help u do it, throw is some lunch/dinner after and no worries, I used an angle grinder for the hole, but get a hole saw if u can
  14. Do u need a special tool for this, or can u just adjust them with ur hand?
  15. nice rims mate, pity they dont fit gts-t
  16. What the disadvantage of buying "fake" rims as apposed to the brand names? Are they less durable or warp or something?
  17. what type of tyres are on these?
  18. Whats the cheapest u will go for the rims without tyres? Also, would they fit a r33 GTS-t?
  19. can offer u $20 delivered to melb for the gear knob
  20. f u dont m,\ind me asking, how much u pay for those rims coz BobJane sells them for $1100 without tyres. (17inch). Not sure was urs are. If only u has posted ur diff up a month ago, would have bought it for sure
  21. Do u know how to damper adjust them? If so would be interested
  22. wa condition is the diff in?
  23. bump, make an offer, all i can say is no
