G'day iv got some drama's with my 93 R33 GTS-T what happend: driving along, engine made a funny scraping noise then died tried to start it but it woundn't even turn over...(just clunked once) sounded like a dead battery sorta, so i tried to jump start it with my GTR but no luck. anyways, i tried to manualy turn the engine over but it was very hard, managed to get a good hold on it and i could only move it one way, i noticed every time i moved the pistons the car would start to wind over (when i turned the key) so i manualy turned the engine over for about 2mins and then tried to start it again and it fired and now runs, BUT it sounds like its running on 5cyl or less and there is a VERY LOUD banging clunking noise comming from the front of the engine (its very very bad) engine sounds like its f**ked all together. the car remains stock apart from a high flowed turbo, exhaust, fmic. the engine is only touched when a service is due. (also the engine has a noisey lifter at the rear of the motor) - but now cant hear it from the knocking noise..lol any help appreciated very much. thank you.

Hey all, Im currently having troubles with my 1989 R32 GTR, Problem: the car only runs in RWD mode instead of AWD, The car has been like this since iv had it (iv been focused on other things) Im not familiar with the AWD System yet, but as far as i know the AWD light should be off when AWD is working fine? with mine the light stays on (it may go off sometimes but only for a second) what i have tried so far is checking the fuse (thats about all i know), also when i start the GTR up with the AWD fuse out..the light is on..so while the car is still running i put the fuse back in and the light then goes out and i can hear a buzzing sound then it stops and the light comes back on. any help would be tops. thanks, Im missing half the reason i brought a GTR, As much fun as it is in RWD mode trying to launch it

Ah yes, good to meet you...Forgot your name as i said i would...(im bad with names) i met quiet a few skyline owners last w/e. gfro r33_browny r32gtrpower and a couple others. hope to see you on here more 'gfro' . keep your eyes peeled for the big state cruise. and one slap on the wrist for thinking the GTR was a Gts-t....

g'day all, Im having trouble with my parents Series 1 R33 GTS-T (Automatic) Problem: * car spluters and surges (really really bad) at the first sign of boost pressure, the turbo starts fluttering or the blow-off valve starts going off when i try to boost it... like i have backed off but iv still got my foot on the accelerator. * also it idles funny at times, and drops in revs when put in neutral. Things i have done: * checked all intercooler piping/ clamps (as it seem to be the same problem i had with my GTR) * checked all vaccume hoses * checked wiring plugs * new spark plugs * new coil-packs it seems to be a vaccume/boost problem. it started doing it after i did a service on it.. so natrually i went back over everthing i moved and checked it all. also i removed a manual boost controller...maybe i have a hose in the wrong spot or missing somewhere? any help needed .A.S.A.P. cheers everyone.
