I'm at melb, red r32, 3rd year Eng (mechanical)/Sci(mathematical physics). Good old maths 141, i bloody failed 121 and had to do 141 the next sem, screwed up my whole course. Drive to uni occasionally, train mostly. you may see me smoking in front of eng most of the time. Seecs is like not used for computing stuff anymore. It's all ICT now. BTW. don't park on royal parade, it's free, but my car got broken into and smashed same day. safer near seecs. What do you guys think of that Capaccino with the front mount. I like it, sounds like a ride on lawn mower but looks like it goes hard.

anf yeah, i realise that most this stuff is readily available nowadays, but it wasn't when i got the idea. And this setup can also perform minor tweaks to the ecu while driving.

I love it. 2:30 in the morning think about this stuff. its nearly 10am, and i can hardly think properley. I like the idea of the of the condensor, would be very interested to see it implemented. the GPS thing i kinda don't get, maybe in a couple of hours. My Idea was (a couple of years ago): I wanted to get a computer in the boot of my car ( like a tower) hook it up to the auxilliary of my headunit, and run it as am MP3 player. Obviously it would be connected to one of those LCD screens which i would have like to be mounted on the sunvisor. And, eventually, when i got a after market engine management system, i'd hook it up to the same computer, and use the info provided in the form guages which would come up in the screen. Keyboard and mouse you might be thinking... Well infra red foldable keyboard, and a touch pad mouse mounted on the side console or driver door... Tell me if you think i'm an idiot any criticism welcome

Whatever you do... Don't buy a SKYLINE!!!!!!!!! j/k series 2 looks more agressive, i think thats about it. It came in 97 and 98. Personally i like the series 1. The r32's a mad car, fun to drive, great on boost, but sluggish off boost. S14 is a bit better off boost, but it's more of a street car in that it lacks the extra sporty benefits of the r32 like stock boost and oil pressure guage, less adjustability in the seats and steering column, and a different suspension setup. both good cars, S14 is newer, slightly safer option with service books, parts, etc.. Skylines go hard

slightly hijacking post, but i have a similar prob... a mechanic said i might have a bent strut too. What exactly is the strut??? Oh, and i'm pretty sure it would have been mentioned, but are you're bushes all good??

Don't forget to upgrade suspension, brakes, and tyres to suit.

thats tough, anything you spray in there could get stuck in you're aircon and knock you out while you're driving. Be happy that it aint giant spiders like my dads old car, the things were huge. anyway, good luck

I'm interested too. but i can't seen to find the eprom reader writer in that website. i don't really know about this stuff, but whats the chance of really screwwing up you're car?? Forgive my ignorance
