g'day i need some advice.... I busted the caster rod and control arm on the front left of my r32, and have recently replaced them with a lot of effort. There should not have been so much effort required, so i took it to a mechanic and he told me that the "stub axle" is bent and has to be replaced. I don't really trust the mechanic as he charged me for doing f*** all. The main problem was that, once the control arm was on, the castor rod had to be forced forward to get the bolt in at the bracket ( bush side). I'll post the alignment readings a little later, but any advice on what/where the stub axle is, and how much it costs would be of great help.... the car is a 92' r32 gts-t thanks

I suggest you look at an RB30/25 hybrid. I've heard good things about Race Pace in Bayswater

sounds like drift gone wrong... or maybe i'm just looking for someone who knows my pain

milkbar??? don't really know what kinda bolt oyu need, but try a hardware store, ask someone there... good luck

what about water pump??? might aswell do it when changing belts

took mine out on sunday, cut my hand on various screws and stuff like 6 times. In my r32, i unscrewed the fuel line bracket just forward of the filter, then got the filter to an easily accessible place, then pulled like a MF, just came off... try getting pliers, clench just at the end of the nozzle ( on a soft spot in the line) and lever the pliers against the fuel filter... worth a shot... : )

yeah, i don't have side indicators either, the front ones protrude out so its unecessary for compliance

busted castor rod and control arm in a poor drift 2 weeks ago.... lost a ring i got in Egypt replaced parts 2 days ago which was ***'n hard, cracked front bar changed oil and spilled all over driveway, cut my hand 6 times changing fuel filter, get alignment and find more some chassis damage (thats why so hard to replace parts), washed car, then rained no fuel no money no tread more shit to fix.... guess i'll try again tomorrow

Are you willing to seperate the toe arms??? i only need the left just curious... do all s13 suspension parts fir r32's????

G'day all I checked the ignition timing on my r32 today, and it was about 13degrees, is this alright???? i checked it at a friends place and he thinks its been advanced, but he's not too sure bout r32's so he said to post here... What is it supposed to be set at?? thanks

G'day i guttered my car a couple of weeks ago, and busted the front left control arm and the castor rod... I got a second hand set, and i'm trying to install them, but i just can't get the castor rod joint (where the bushes are) to slot in place so i can get the bolt in. I've got the control arm attached fine. Anybody got any suggestions as to how to finish the job?? I haven't driven my car in 2 weeks..... :goddam: please help....
