I'm just curious, if anyone could tell me, over the years as the car went from R32 to R34 , how did the engine change? I'd appreciate any details you might know about it (ex: different turbo, hotter cams, different pistons, rods, etc...) Please include anything you know about the trannys too like gear ratio changes, power they can handle, etc...
The reason why I'm asking is I will likely be purchasing an R32 GTR soon and was wondering if maybe it was wiser to upgrade some of the hardware to that of a newer car. I am mostly interested in features that would add reliability at higher power levels, such as more advanced lubrication or cooling, but I'd appreciate if you were to point out any differences you know of.
