bigger wheels = heavier. The new rims are a fair bit lighter than the 19's were, hence having less weight all round giving me the better fuel eco.

Seen a purple Falcon twice this week around midday having pulled over people, and one of those bright yellow HWP cars last night. But doesn't seem to be any different to how it usually during non-peak hour times

yeah that is the thread that made me ask the question in here, was seeing if there's anything different we need to look at doing that other rb owners don't have to do. Plus l don't think there's a thread that covers this service in this area, and maybe a good reference point for those that are approaching it.

Just after some advice. Who here has done their 100K service, and if so what did you change, and how much did it cost you (either yourself or workshop price?) I'm currently only a couple of thousand away, and looking at doing the following things. Is there anything lve missed that l should be looking at doing, or anything l've added that really doesn't need to be done? -Diff oil -Gearbox oil -Engine oil -Oil filter -Fuel filter -Idler bearings -Cam belt -Spark plugs -Water and coolent -Water pump (why not while you are there) -Cam and crank seals -Cleaned air filter -Systems Check and reset memory and check all sensors and check for any fault codes. -Tune SAFC2 -Fit 3" turbo back dump pipe up Rough estimates l'm up for about $4-500 in parts, now most of it l can do myself, like the oils, filters, coolant, plugs, etc... but would be looking at a workshop to do the rest (pump, seals, cam belt, tuning, etc..), so should save some $$$ doing things myself. Anyone in melb had there's done, if so where at?? (esp out east/south east) thanks in advance!!

How much did it cost to have that done, and how long did it take?? l'm thinking of getting the same thing done for my stagea, just gotta import in the dash first

I used VRfour from this forum/ns.com/fff/etc ... excellent to deal with, damn competitive fee's, and comes highly recommended.

Bonnet is just painted black. Looked into CF bonnets, and couldn't find any to fit a S1 Stagea, and based on prices of R32/3/4's it was going to get to expensive for a daily. Rims were $1650 .. are just copies. Same as the cf bonnet, couldn't find genuine's in black with same width, and new was more than l was prepared to pay, as looking into getting a new "project car" soon so money could go to that. I'll see what l can do bout pics tomorrow!! What alex said. The Charge speed kit just sits over the top of the stock bars.

Posted my confirmation. As said l'll organise payment with them as the Stagea needs to be custom made as they don't have templates for it. I've spoken to them and have let them know l'll be down sometime early next week to organise it.

Well ... after travelling with the 19's for a while, l started to get itchy feet (no pun) and looked into something bigger. After a few trips to a few different retailers about and trying on 20's from a mates car (& feeling ride quality!!), l quickly swapped the 16's back on (as 19's were sold) and found myself pondering what to do. Anyway, long story short, l've ended up going smaller, and now have some black TE37 look 18's on my car. Must say, l get about 65km's per tank more by having rims only 1" smaller, and with current fuel prices that can only be a good thing!! anyway, enough rambling, here's the pics!!!

Yeah l was going to go there today to discuss with them how to go about mine, as the Stagea's will need to be custom made. Plus l wanted to check out the black & crinkle, as l'll prolly go that look with grey stiching. That and there's a centre console l want to get covered if l'm going all black. Is sounding good though, if l can get the doors for a little less l'll be damn happy, coz atm $400ish for the seats seems a pretty good deal.

if l go in there and see them, do l just mention the g/b through SAU and they'll set me up with a price. Coz l know the stagea one's need to be designed first as they don't have a template as i've spoken to them in the past. If thats the case and we can get to 10 people l'm in for front, rear & extra material for door trims.

I switched from my 19's to 16's a couple of weeks ago, as decided to get new rims. Anyway in the last 3 week's l've been getting about 75km's more a tank than l was when l had the 19's, which surprised me that it made that much of a difference. Getting 18's next week ... hopefully it won't change too much with them.
