the meets at 12 right?? as l could be a bit late, forgot l have a PT session @ 10.30am sat morning, so l'll be there bout 12.30-1pm at the latest.

yeah l can't afford a new head unit atm....so for $22, its the way l'll be going. at the end of the day l listen to my iriver 90% of the time, only use the radio for the short gym trip in the morning, and to find out the traffic when l leave uni later in the day.

to play dvd's u need a NTSC to pal converter....unless they are multi region DVD's. to get the FM station's to work you need a FM convertor. Both items available from Jaycar l believe, as this is what l've been told l'll need once mine arrives in about 2wks.

Thanks for clearing that guys. I was hoping l didn't have to try and find a set of 16" wheels to use for all of 30mins. Car is getting complianced under RAWS i believe. Is off the dock tomorrow and off to be complianced .... not long to go now.

I'm a photographer. Mainly shoot fashion/glamour style stuff ..... but dabble in a bit of product & sports photography at times (yeah to Comm Games coming up!! ). And no guys, l don't need an assistant!! :lol:

Yeah l was going to get a viper alarm til l found out it wasn't to aus standards. Now l'm in two minds as to whether to get it or get something like a the Mongoose M80 series alarm/immobiliser.

Sorry to bump up an old thread. WHen reg. a car for the first time, does the car need to be stock when u take it to vicroads to be registered? As my stagea will prolly have its aftermarket exhaust & wheels on, will they tell me l need the standard items back on, or will l be fine with just the RWC & all the applicable import/compliance forms.

I've just got 3 quotes, 26yr old, rating 1, clean history. JCI - $1100 Shannons - $1500 Unique - $950 Can't believe there is such a difference, JCI is issured at $23K, where as the other two are $21K. Might have to start bargaining now with them, as prefer shannons, but not at that price.

Shannons have the same windscreen protection in their policy as well.
