my car came with 18's alex ... then l went to 19's (looks good, ride & fuel was poo), then back to 18's (much nicer ride, fuel & handling). If l got another stagea l'd go 20's and just slam the shit outta the car. There's plenty of room there for them.

If l take out the SAFC ... would that mean taking out all the wiring fromt he ECU back, or just unplugging the unit. Got a letter from EPA today in relation to a Emissions control system & noise. Exhaust isn't a problem, but not sure what to do with the SAFC.

Pretty much the reason l'm keeping mine. Looked at getting a CRX/civic (not del-sol crx either) to drive around in while saving for a house, but with so many stagea's for sale, chances of me selling and making it worth it isn't worth the time. I need someone to just hit my car enough to write it off ... its well and truly over-insured. Gotta say l like the kit you have, subtle yet enough there to add a bit flair. Think mine's gonna come off soon and just drive it stock for a while.

SAFCII .... said l might get letter from EPA advising me to remove it as its a piggy back system (yes, l did lol in my head when he said piggy!!) Jap, white car, black bonnet, kitted .... kinda says it all. If it was stock looking l think i'd be ok.

Thats pretty much what l'm doing over the next month or so. There's a place in melb that does the shift kit for $400 installed (inc service on box). Then just a FMIC and l'm done for a while. Brakes l'll change when pads and disc's start wearing down. I don't drive hard so having slotteds & so forth isn't a priority atm.

I've used RE Customs a couple of times with no hassles at all. Quiet a few of the vic members use them ... have a look in the VIC section for more details. They're located off Westall Rd in Clayton. Sabbadin ... is that where Pete from Rank went?? If so l'll prolly go there from now on, used Rank for years for my SSS with gtir engine, so l know pete's work and great tuning skills!! Whilst we're on recommendations .... any one recommend a good painter in the sth east 'burbs. One who's reasonably priced too!
