CAMERA: Sony DSC F717 Price Range: around 900 to 1200 (last checked DEC 05) Likes: i love the fact that the lens can tilt...great for low ground shots, and also great for holding the lens up high and still seeing the object to shoot. Another thing that impressed me is the battery reader... fairly accurate, it tells you approx. how many minutes are left on the camera, great little feature. what about cosmetic differences between 96 and 97 R33? i cant seem to find any...but im not a skyline owner...yet. so im basing my opinion on photos only. which isnt easy.

EDIT: my bad i just re-checked the website... ABS was standard on 97 and was an option on 96

dont mean to dig up an old thread... but ive been wondering what the difference is between the 96SII r33 and the 97sII r33 is... the only difference is that the 97 model come with abs as an option and has no front spoiler, and the 96 has no ABS option and has a front spoiler...all other specs are the same.

im pretty sure in nsw you dont lose points or your liscence suspended until the fine is actually paid...my mate got another month of driving by not paying until the second notice came through. f**k i love the consistency of our federal courts too bad precidence doesnt apply acoss states. theres this story about some dude who flicked a cigarette butt outside the car, got caught, and was summoned to court...he argued that it was raining that day and that the cigarette butt was more of a fire hazard INSIDE the car than outside...he walked free.

actually, my phone camera is a sony too, k750i. takes some good shot surprisingly....i bought a 1gig memorystick duo so i can listen to music and have enough room for pictures...the photos that i took up above were done with my 2mp camera phone!

thanks for the support fellas... i fell in love with this camera the first time i used it...but as my interest in photography and graphic design increased, the features needed decreased... love it to bits, but i konw that i will be moving to a camera more suitable to my needs... someone kick someones arse to buy this camera!

the only scratch i see is a very light surface scratch on the dial and another light one on the lens pop-up... but thats mainly general wear. i feel that the price set by me is reasonable for selling this item second hand. i am willing to make such a loss. i basically took 10 different prices that i saw it for brand new and got the average of 970 for the current market price for the camera...and then i shaved 300 off it plainly because its second hand... i think that price is cheap enough to appeal to buyers and satisfy me at the same time. the extra items are just an added incentive to buy

no problems at all mate...there arent any deep scratches on the camera. i have had this camera for a while so you cant expect mint prestine condition. i dont want that to deter you from buying this camera and thats why ill be honest with the condition on one side and give you a very reasonable price on the other. the lens has really been taken care of, hence the reason for the lens protector... other than that i would personally consider it in fantastic condition. as of performance, the camera still works well, never been dropped, shoulder strap always been used, i take care of all my posessions as much as possible.
