    does this apply for series 1 rb25's or is it only rb20 ecu's that can be chipped?

  6. strut braces and coilovers are still here. also now have genuine HKS super dragger cat back exhaust for sale to suite r33 gtst. 3 inch from cat with resonator and centre muffler going to 3.5inch and a huge stainless cannon with 5 inch tip. will not fit r32. $500 in very good condition

  8. they're adjustable alloy ones with rose joints. left hand side is snapped in 2 right hand side is fine.. had enough of holding parts for ppl and not showing.. first ones to ring and come get the strut braces can have them saturday morning.
  9. sorry mate it says everything is ok in the interior except driver's seat which doesn't look straight after the accident.. intercooler pipes, dump pipe and door trims are sold.

  15. not sure about diff condition after accident so best to come check it out. i think its a 4.1 or 4.11 what ever they are standard. lsd still good in it
  16. wrecking 1995 r33 series 1.5 nissan skyline -it has a series 2 front which is no use has been smashed on the front and along the passenger side. -has complete series 2 rb25det with complete engine loom and computer, turbo and lines, both manifolds, alternator power steering etc. engine has 68,000km's on it SOLD - cross drilled and slotted front discs all calipers, rears have high performance pads- look like blitz ones (haven't checked yet) SOLD -interior is still all good and in one piece except for driver's seat. - has factory light up skyline boot garnish still in good condition.. SOLD -series 2 rear spoiler with all LED's working $150 aftermarket parts - genuine set of Nismo damper adjustable struts with matching Nismo lowered springs. all are straight and in very good conditon. I'm selling my custom intake manifold with polished side facing plenum. it was made for my RB30DET for bonnet clearance issues in a r32. it suits a r33 RB25DET head and has bolt holes for the standard throttle body and sits it so that the standard r32 accelerator cable can be used. it has all the vacuum line nipples and also can be fitted with the factory idle by-pass set up. it has made 336hp at the wheels on the rb30 at 5000rpm on running in tune. has been machined flat on the part that sits against the head. looking for $300 ono pm me for more details
  18. blowing smoke out the pcv is sure sign u busted a piston, ringlands at least.. if it was anything to do with the head u wouldn't get blow by.
  19. a business not using a wideband sensor would not last very long.. im pretty sure that dyno dynamics has a built in wide band which logs each run on top the previous. if used for what they're designed for then both safc and fcd are quite good gizmo's once u start trying to do too much with them thats when u start breaking things. trust me i know from experience.
  20. did the car have a dead miss when running? like was it running on 5 cylinders all through the rev range and not just at idle? its nearly impossible to get 0 psi reading if your piston is in one piece. as even with no rings on there is still some sort of compression. what sort of guage are you using? screw in or push in? also whats the next number after 0 on your guage?
  21. yeah FCD's clamp the voltage as u stated causing mixtures to go lean but also the timing is advanced in some cases at the same time which is not the best thing to have happen. SAFC's are not so much a clamp as a manipulator varying the voltage reading of the airflow meter to either richen or lean out a/f's.
  22. thanks for all your help guys. i have solved the problem.. it was the coolant temp sensor for the ecu. i pin pointed it by unplugging it when it would not start. the car then fired although extremely rough due to it running rich from the substitute value. i then tried another sensor i had from my spare engine. it has not missed a beat since sunday nite.
  23. yeah forgot to mention that i've swapped the ignition relay with the other blue one next to it. which i presume is the ECCS one. no difference
  24. i put a rb25det in my r32 with the standard r33 25 loom and computer. its been running fine for a while now until yesterday. i washed the car and on the way home the tacho dropped to 0 and car died. i let it sit for a while and it started again. it runs for a period of time and then as if something gets too hot and stops working. i've swapped several things including CAS, ECU, ignitor, when car won't start it cranks and injectors fire and theres fuel. if u spin the cas the injectors fire but no coils. it did get water in the wiring loom and that has all been cleaned out. i have checked all the wires to and from the cas. it gets battery voltage and earth. both signal wires are outputting signal when it cranks without starting. any ideas would be great cause im out of em!
  25. you can't just adjust the TPS randomly. there's a specific voltage u have to get at idle for them to work correctly. if u adjust them too far then the computer would never enter the idle map or other end it will never enter WOT map.
