hey guys just checking interest in my engine before i pull it out. its a r33 series 1 rb25det currently in a r32. it is complete from intake manifold to turbo and dump pipe all standard. - engine has done approx 120 000km - has had new water pump and timing belt fitted - never been boosted above 7 psi in my car - done comp test and all cyl's are around the 150-160 psi mark. - can see and hear engine running in the car this has been a temporary engine i bought while i build my old one up hence why its still all stock. looking around the $1400 mark

rrb20ash yours sounds like the wrong heat range or incorrectly gapped spark plugs if the coil packs fixed it for a while. as for the gtr's id be checking your bypass valve in the tank as previously mentioned. because if it was the fuel pump it would have shit itself by now instead of doing it every now and then. although they take a while to die once they start cutting out completely there's not long left in them.

this dr drift always seems to have an excuse when his tunes don't make power... which is pretty often i've noticed

instead of just cleaning it down and whinging tighten the phillips head bolts too and u won't have that problem for a while. also its not spilt oil from the service its your rocker cover gaskets leaking because the screws are loose...

is it dripping on the ground? techically an oil leak is a roadworthy item. depending on the severity a car can be defected for this. it is up to the person writing the rwc or in your case, the officer, as to whether it passes or not. what do u have to do to clear the defect? get a roadworthy? present it for inspection to the officer? or is it self-clearing where u have to fill in a declaration stating that the item has been fixed? i don't think u can actually get out of it u just have to get it cleared and wear the loss of points and fine.. sorry

there isn't that much mucking around to fit a walbro considering the price difference. I have fitted several of these pm me if u want it fitted. also be careful wat reg u get as there are several that are unreliable

mine just started having massive readings even when free reving the engine, it would flicker over a 100. even on base map with stock rb25. u can't tell me its knocking. also is there any way of updating the software on the actual power fc unit?

stick your garden hose in the top outlet of the engine and water through it with decent pressure so it comes out the bottom radiator hose. the water will be dirty at first then slowly clear up. this should get rid of most of the gunk in the head and block. if ur still worried, once the cooling system is back together u can run a cooling system chemical flush through it. hope it helps

hey mate are u running the standard conrods still in your forged engine? just that there's no mention of which rods have been used. also what head gasket and bolts/studs are being used? thanks

u'll be maxing out the standard airflow meter with the 30. Best bet is put the z32 one back on and get a full retune. Depending on the tuner and how much money u wanna spend they could get by with the standard rb20 airflow meter but the tune won't be the best. At least it'll be running alot better. As i mentioned before and cubes confirmed it won't rev with the standard 20 turbo

depends wat rb20 ecu too. From my experience the early r32 ecu's barely suffered from rich and retard they weren't that complex. Also the fact that the 30 is running a standard 20 turbo now would create a fairly substantial restriction in the exhaust.. Limiting breathing and also revs

rb20 ecu's don't really get r&r.. i'd be looking more at the wiring for the airflow meter if its been changed from z32 back to rb20

depending on how long the car's been sitting around crashed for the V power Racing has probably gone stale making it now less octane than normal V Power...

u can get a full 33 auto half cut for that price. With warranty

nah mate u'll need a aftermarket computer or piggyback of somesort to run these otherwise u'll be fouling plugs and run like an absolute pig if it will even idle at all.. On topic i'll buy these if they're for sale still in a week or so
