im having the exact same problem ben. can u tell me what all the other wires in the rb25 plug on the strut tower are for? i have one hooked up for the injectors so far and am not sure what the other ones are for?

was the car a kinda brass coloured convertible or coupe? i've just finished my apprenticeship at BMW and am pretty sure i have seen this car come into work. the owner has done the badging themselves. there is no such thing as a 435i or M4. and also the 318i no longer exists

no HKS cam gears are specific to inlet and exhaust. there are some brands which can use the same one for inlet and exhaust u can determine these by them having 2 small locating holes as opposed to just one. which also means these can be fitted 180 degrees out if your not careful

hi im chasing a r32 gtr speedo drive which is located on the side of the gearbox to drive the cable for the speedo. if anyone's got one that they wanna sell please let me know. its kinda urgent thanks

yep still have handbrake cables. and hks super dragger cat- back exhaust is now back up for sale due to buyer not coming up with money.

yeah external's the only real fix. although there is a bandaid fix which i know of and have used in the past using cam gears.

its actually caused by the exhaust housing/wastegate design. if u look at where the wastegate gases come out you'll see it hits a wall and has to turn 90 degrees to join the main flow out the turbine. this causes way too much backpressure so gas would not flow out the wastegate just the turbine. hence the rising boost. seen it happen with many of these cheap integral wastegate turbos.
