  1. 18x10.5 should use atleast 265 tyre those tyres front and rear on a r33 gtr will fit perfect with no issues
  2. so ive had the idea in my head for a while now about getting the centers of my volk gt7's painted as just about every other mnp r33 gtr has goldish rims ive been thinking a colour similar to the te37sl's but still leaving the lips polished if anyone is good at photo shop could they post up what it may look like. will post up other pics if required or should i just sell/ swap my rims for something else?

  5. can u post up some pics of the underside of the bonnet, looking through the vents from the top of the bonnet and any other angles u think might be relevant. just wana get some ideas on what i could possibly make to sort out any issues i may have

  8. not concerned about flow or pressure, i just want to hear peoples experience with z tune bonnets and water in the engine bay, no offence to the people who have already posted but have clearly stated that i only want to know what has happened with your z tune bonnet not some other brand of bonnet that is not even the same design. so again people with Z TUNE style bonnets please share your real world experience with me
  9. if you look at the blits bonnets they only have a vent in the gap between the radiator and the cam cover so thats no help with what im after
  10. blits bonnets do not have the same vents as a ztune bonnet therefore blitz bonnets have no relevance to this topic ztune bonnets have vents over the engine covers, this is what im concerened about
  11. yeh i was thinking of getting a perspex cover made that would be easy to fit, seems like the best option. i want a bonnet coz they do look pretty good, it will get painted midnight purple with the vents left in carbon (dont like full crabon on purple, and the carbon would tie in nice with the other carbon parts on my car)
  12. do u think putting some kind of rubber seal on the underside of the valley cover to give a kind of complete seal would work?

  14. so u have had alot of problems with water then? are u still using the valley cover? i was planning on putting a tarp in the engine bay to cover it while washing my car, but how bad is it when your just driving in the rain?

  16. Ok so I'm looking into purchasing a z tune style bonnet for my r33gtr and I'm concerned about water in the engine bay and what problems it may potentially cause. My car runs a t88 with twin filters that are enclosed in a box, I still have my valley cover on but only has 3 screws in it. There is also a sensor for the boost controller I think it is sitting near the top of the plenum. Can people who have one of these bonnets please give me their experiences with water in the engine bay and should i be concerned about any of my above mentioned things? Thanks in advance

  19. what u plan on doing in the future will impact on the choice u make, if u just keep the car how it is then just get a nistune, will provide a decent level of tunning to some good results, clean up how the car drives or if u plan on going further with bigger turbos, injectors n the like choices will go from the simple but reliable power fc costing usually round $1000+ tunning right thruogh to haltec, motec etc which will cost u a shit load more but as said above if u simply went into the forced induction section and used the search function all the answers u could ever want will show up. This type of question have been covered many times before, thats y people get the shits when it is continually asked

  21. for that price i would expect it to be sus as these sell for nearly 10k new n still over 5k second hand

  23. Hey mate what state are u looking to buy in? I've been contemplating selling my r33 gtr, 418kw @all 4, fully forged, os giken box, big fuel system. Basically everything is done. Look at photos in my profile if u want, has also run 10.9 quarter

  25. Yeh go for 19's, I had 18's only 33gtr before and they just didn't seem to look quite right, once I got the 19's the car looked like it was all in proportion. If it's seeing regular track then 18 but for just everyday driving around town then 19 is perfectly fine
