No I don't think so. If people saw something - they can say that. If they didn't see something - they can say it also. They can describe the facts. Since then asking people to confirm what they saw (or didnt see) is illegal? I am afraid you are missing the point. It's exactly what I meant. If someone is willing to help - I will appreciate that, I will let them know what I need, if people are able to confirm or deny something, they will tell me. If for some reason they are unable to do so, at least I will thank them for their time , efforts and willingness to help. Let me repeat - I am not going to ask people to do anything illegal. Hi people, probably I am posting to the wrong section, but original thread is already closed and I am not sure what is the best section to post. Anyway, as some of you may be aware, that cruise attracted some attention not only from fellow car enthusiast, but also from our friends in blue uniform. As a result, few peaces of paper have reached my desk and now I am in a position where I need to ask for help. So guys, if you went on that cruise and prepare to either write a short statement (not a saga, and I will let you know what needs to be said) or do even more and spend couple of hours of your time further down the track - you help will be HIGHLY appreciated. I am not asking you do to something illegal or wrong, I am asking you to say what we believe was right. At this stage I am just asking if you are prepared to help, my lawyer will provide me with more details. I am not in a position to release too much info here, as it is a public forum, but I believe that we need to stand up and do something to protect ourselves from "mistakes" done by people in uniform driving driving cars with blue and red lights and following our cruises. Not a good news. One of the guys who was last in the "convoy" got done for speeding and other things. Unmarked police car was behind and they said they could only deal with one car - the last one, so they let everyone else go and only stopped him. The guy wasn't shown any prove of the speed he was doing (should police do that ??), he was told that they were "following him for few hundred meters". Just to let you know guys. Any help (advice) would be highly appreciated.

Hi Steve, John (Appealing) gave us his estimation - "The accomodation cost is $70/two persons for Room and Continental Breakfast and $80 with cooked breakfasts. $50 for a single person, and $60 for cooked breakfast option. You will still sleep in a double or Queen size bed regardless". Food - I've been told, its quite affordable there, drinks - everyone on it's own, 5-6 pints per person is a conservative estimation, isn't it ? ))))) I'd allocate about $70-80 for fuel and I'll make sure that I leave with full tank of petrol. But I would recommend either send a PM to Appealing or ring the hotel directly to make a booking otherwise they might run our of rooms; sleeping in the Stagea is always an option (done it once in the middle of nowhere and found it was quite ok, but we had pillows/blankets) but hotel is much better option, especially if you travel with your girlfriend. By the way, John - Anton is definitely coming with us, if anything can be "definite" with kids, so if someone wants to take kids, it would be easier for all of us, they entertain each other and leave us in peace most of the time )))

Excuses, excuses, excuses.... Family, job, hobby, wife, kids, garden, house.. you name it It all comes back to the priorities. We live only once (unless someone here is a cat but that's a different story), we all socializing here and we all (well at least many of us) are complaining every now and then that we dont have many activities... and when opportunity comes - bingo ! only 4 cars going to turn up... I am not going to say much or put shame on anyone; i am not going to ask anyone to reconsider their decisions. But i am going to repeat myself - it's all about priorities. Period.

Another one - Where do I find reverse signal wire ? Tried to locate one myself - no luck :-( OR I need to use reverse light 12V ? By the way - it seems to me that reverse light power coming thru right hand side of the back door .

Hi guys, well, it took me just about a year to stop sitting on my back side and do something useful. I finally started the installation process and, I must admit, I did not go too far. I managed to get out standard TV tuner and... and I have few questions now ! First of all, I am a bit confused with antenna cables. PDF manual from chook mentions 4 cables joined in 2 pairs. Are we talking about 3 black cables marked (or labeled) as red, green and sort of blue and another one big black round(ish) connector with 2 pins ?? If yes, which ones should be paired ? Power to amplifiers (see the attach) - is it how the connector should look like or someone has already played with mine? I made a mistake and unplugged grey connector from the unit and was surprised when I found 2 grey sockets next to each other. Connector fits them both and functionality seems to be the same (although I haven't checked it thoroughly) . Can anyone advise me please on where I should plug it ? Relay - which one to use and where to get one ? Mind you, I havent played with relays for good 25 years and I was getting mine from my dad ))) Now, couple of things I need to ask about new unit. Does it need to be connected to "live" wire, or both POWER and ACC cables can be connected to, for example, cigarette lighter adaptor in the boot ? Or I'd better get them connected to something else ? Can someone help me with that please ? )))) Oh, las but not least - thanks chook for his great efforts and the amount of info he provided !!! .

Hi people, last weekend chuckie came to my place and removed aircond filters from my Stagea -we were going to replace them but Nissan had wrong ones in stock (we ordered them but they'll have to come from Japan - 1o days to 3 weeks). To cut the long story short - if you still thinking about replacing yours - just look at the pic attachet. My Stagea has less than 100k on the clock.

Guys, I need to do some painting (for some strange reason, paint on a skirt does not like hitting a pole ) So I have couple of questions, such as : - how can I determine color of my Stagea ? t is red, but Nissan has so many reds.. I got the same thing in my S2. This is a stereo control. On/Off - turns stereo on and off. Mode -swithces between different modes (CD/radio ? Cant remeber) Arrow up - skips the track when it plays CDs.
