argghhh!!!!! DEFECT IS KILLING ME! argghhh!!!!!

hey guys, i have recently been defected (here in adelaide) for alot of things. one that has puzzled me is for the factory fitted battery in my boot! I have been told that i need to fit a dry cell battery, or vent to atmosphere. i rang around and got a price for $540.. my question: has this happend to any other 33 owners, why not rectified on compliance!

sorry to hear about the DEFECT dude my car was defected a month or so ago and im still trying to get it through! i have lost all motivation and are extreemly depressed about the whole thing. the system is due for a revision, my car is 100% road worthy. best of luck ohh.. religion is the asnswer to all the questions thats humanbiengs need to know in life. thus is until we realise why things occour and the harsh reality that governs life is its processes. science and the evolution of technology has further pushed our society away from religious beliefs. eg. the world is flat, the planets revolve around the sun to prove and speak aginst this was punishable by death, the bible had created the guide lines that hold humanity together. our ruthless past and human nature is nothing to be proud of. before society had reached its so called civilisted status, laws were govered by the bible the ruler was a decendent of christ! (monarchy) the bible was the law! people need to be govented and feel (re-ashured, not alone and part of a greater picture) religion has provided this. some one who lives tehre life without religion has no less moral values and is no lesser of a person that does. as we as people can now understand what life is about be the freedom we have faught for. creating a mutual understanding between the worlds cultures is the lengthy process as we have all evolved from certian regions and have simular religious values with different fuigre heads. therefore.. we should all go to school to some research look into history under stand human nature and move on the the future toghter.

mate, it could have been due for many other reasons other then racial desrimination.

i think it may be due to there prior society, they see our society as "weak", not to forget they come from countries lacking infastucture and police laws ect. so pepole act to survive. The middly east has been in turmoil for hundreds of years. Authority is genrally the enemy. There is contstant faction rivalry's killings for the right of power, being heavily religous they are fanatical. we have to understand that our society and heratige has been under the same rule and system for hundreds of years. in order for stability someone needs to win. i dont think they are bad people, as there are plenty of bad australians. not to forget australia is a multi-cultural society. Time will tell all but is there any way of combating this problem by bieng fair to the innocent?

i would like to second that opinion, if you are satisfied with the performance ect. from your line at the moment wait until you unleash her. especially with those forged internals! welcome to the wonderful world of well designed and engineered skylines!

thanks mate for willing to help me... my mate found me a r33 hicas today and have installed it. cost me nothing HAHA

my mate has the 2jz twin turbo 6 speed supra and with gready E-manage, 3" and front mount on 14 psi made 266 kawtw. ohh and they have factory forged internals.

i think you will find that all GTS-T skylines have a little problem called traction off the line... apsecially with more than standard power. 4wd or front power assist clearly counters that problem.

i am over turbo timers, there just something else to add to your cars modifications. its not hard to wait a sec then turn your car off, im shure my turbo timer was anothre nail in the coffin when my love was defected!

yes, i do need the hicas rack.. is it for a 33 or the one off my car?

lol, guys i can relate. my 33 has been defected for a month or so now and ive been driving around in an.... EA Falcon i drove my 33 on monday to regency on factory boost and ecu, i was so happy just to feel the boost and power. even tho it was nothing compared to before i have an addiction to BOOST... ect.

OMG would you do that? judging by my experiances with skylines, every thing is relitively quick and easy. what sort of time fram would you put on this job?

yeah. apparently you need to have it engineerd, the part has obviously been engineered for it to work. r33 hicas is electronicly controlled? easy to install? SOMEONE LEND ME ONE THEY HAVE TAKEN OFF!

yeah, i told him it doesent have abs and he looked at me (its quite obvious) i think he was referring to the sensor i have questioned to you guys before located at the front nose of the diff. well my father is a mechaninc and thinks he knows people that could state it in reports. also i know a few people. he told me i need a charcoal cannister fitted, i said yes, its fitted it disposes of fuel vapors and then showed him were it was and the lines, he still said i needed it checked. there is no leaks from the manifold, have organised a hi flow from slide for her, was planning on doing the studs then, but i think ill have to doubble handle as a hi flow would screw with emissions even with stock ecu. he also questioned the boost solionoid i explained it to him, but then thaught it was best for someone to check it out. yeah, i think as long as i have a report its ok.. i hope i find a decent mech and it easy and cheap.

hey guys! just took my car through regency.. The List: - eye level rear tail light to work - all emission controls to be re-installed (supply report stating all plum,bing correct) - fit dry cell type battery or vent to atmosphere - refit all child restraint systems - remove flare and despose correctly - pedals - front and rear suspension to be raised to 360mm - repair missing/brocken exhaust manifold studs - re-instate rear steering control sytems (hicas) supply report stating operation ok - re-instate abs control function. (doesent have abs.. IDIOT) supply report stating operation ok ALL REPORTS TO BE FROM REPUTABLE DEALER QAUILIFIED MECH.

yeah, i think its a definate that they will gimmie a fresh defect list even if the car was completly returned to stock. so... im gonna let them tell me what to do. last thing i wanna do is pull suspension, diff ect. out for no reason. anywayz. i cannot believe how much my car is a part of my life im lost.. IM IN COON COUNTRY!!!!!
