  1. on pulling the diff back apart and looking at how it actually works, ive found that the shims just bind the spider gears up and so it is just a locker. atleast with my viscous lsd so may as well just wield it up really or get a mini spool.
  2. yeah that sounds just like what i want Rolls "throw's burnout in rage" some people have suggested giveing it a chance to "wear in" maybe my diff was in good nic before arrg. guess the nismo 1.5 would beat a good nic stocker.
  3. shimmed my diff added 0.6mm and now its locked damn it up from 1.1 and 0.8 to 1.4 and 1.1, thinking i might pull it apart and go back to original as i dont think this will work for hillclimbs (not sure if its locked 100% but it seems to be ie skips a little on tar.)
  4. im after a cheap rb25 gbox to muck around with damaged is ok, just to tear down see if i can and for external size to go into a 200sx. n.s.w prefered around newcastle if you can help me out let me know. thanks
  5. lower offset puts the rim further out giving you more clearance from coil overs allow more -ve camber etc. but as mentioned above doesnt change distance from brakes that is to do with the spokes and hub, some manufactures have different disk types which refers to clearance from hub i think.
