My understanding is that if you buy.. anything.. for an intended purpose and the seller is aware of this...he is then liable if the item cannot for full this purpose.You would need to consult a solicitor to make sure of your rights.The dealer should be bending over backwards to make sure you are fully satisfied as his rep is on the line and the import game is not that big that he can afford to get such basic stuff wrong.I bought my RS4 sight unseen and would have been mighty pissed If I had got a RWD..Although some guys like the RWD gig...if you wanted a 4WD and it was clear that the dealer knew this...(written of not) I would be pursuing a resolution.Figure out what YOU want and remember to deal with the dealer in a calm but decisive manner. Hope it all works out for you.

Dates are fine with me....my only request would be a central location..maybe Albert Park lake or similar as I would be more interested in a get together rather than a long drive anywhere.

Thats a bummer about the gutter rash...it's one of the reasons why I would prefer local pickup for the rims...so the buyer can inspect before purchase...and... because I'm too lazy to do all that packing..bleeding...bubble wrapping....etc..

I saw a set on ebay (QLD) with a start price of $400. they had no marks at all but only 35% tyres. Mine do have some marks but the tyres are more like 70% ..so....price drop to $450. I dont want to be uncompetative. Cheers..

Hi. I purchased some 18's for my Stagea so I have some 17 inch 350Z wheels up for grabs. They are 17X8 off set is 30. They have a few marks but nothing drastic. I picked up some white 18's (see pic) so my 17 inch 350z rims are up for grabs (see second pic). I will post them in the general for sale area but thought that I would give the stagea crew first opportunity. They are 17x8 offset 35.Tyres are 235 45's. All tyres are good and done 15k since new. Wheels have a few marks but nothing drastic.(high res pics of each wheel in general for sale section) I think these wheels can be polished to give the chrome look if one was inclined. I think this myth is officially...."Busted"!

I looked at a few waterless car wash sites...they claim it will not scratch the car as it "encapsulates the dirt" without scratching..none of these dry washes tell you how it does this and I for one dont see how it could work without scratching... (their lack of any real technical evidence is suss)...I stopped using a sponge to wash my car when I found out they can make fine sratches ..all the info I have read says its most important to hose off the initial dirt as mush as poss and then wash with a soft cloth or shammy (bugger of word to spell) .

Not really a Stagea thing but I just wanted say how annoying it is.. not to be able to wash my car with the hose under current water restrictions here in Melbourne ...but if i want to pay I can use the local servo car wash...I asked the guy at the servo. as I know him pretty well... and was told their car wash does NOT use recycled water..typical modern day political correctness..punish every one for the sins of a few..speed bumps are other similar annoying situation. Ps. I Never water my lawn and have been taking a leak in the garden for many years..

Went to see Dr Drift the other day to see about doing the ECU remap and was surprised to find my S2 has an IMPUL ECU fitted.Sam (Dr Drift) has taken some pic s to send to his man in Japan to see if there is any more tweaking that can be done. Wondering if anyone else has come across one in their Stagea.

I get the same thing...sounds like a cross between a fart and a cow mooing...I think its something to do with the fuel pump cos it usually happens to mine when the fuel is on the low side...it has done it for ages with no other problems arising from it.... dam embarrassing if you pull up where there are people around.. turn the car off and watch the reaction as the car lets out what sounds like a big pizza fart!.....that being said....I did notice my attessa fluid level was on the min marker recently.I haven't topped it up cos I forgot if it took power steering fluid or auto tranny fluid (please inform me)
