Takes probably 1 hour to remove the whole front off the 34 (had to do this to install xenons). Like others have said, the 2 bolts on each side that you access via the wheel arch are a real prick to get off and be prepared to curse for a good 20 mins. Getting them back on is worse since you basically fiddle around blindly trying to guess where they should go. Have fun, I did!

gold, doing something moronic and slamming into a cop car in the process LOL what a tool

was a great game by Australia, the Greeks hardly had a chance to score in the first half, then Aus switched to defense in the 2nd half, Greece took more posession of the ball but the defense did well to contain them. good goal too, very good play kicking in from the corner over the box, the Greeks should of seen it coming because the Aussies tried the exact same thing just a few mins earlier. The game started to die down after that but still good overall. only getting there and back was the real hassle of the night with some tossers on the train on the way home. FYI I was not on the highest row possible in the 'G, but only the 2nd highest row lol wonderful view though...

I've got Nankang 235/40 R18's "Ultra Sport NS-II" on the 34 and had them since I bought it, they're reasonably good in the dry and handle OK, but in the wet they're pretty shocking. Never forget the time I first drove them in the wet... lol . Go for performance/handling over looks any day when it comes it tyres especially. I use mine for daily driving and don't drift/drag so it's fine for me. If I were to be on a race track I would probably be fearful for my life

First rule when looking for a car; if you feel uncomfortable, walk away! Don't even consider putting a deposit down on a car with problems, because they will hold your money even if you don't buy the car and they can screw you around for ages. It's not worth wasting the time and money. There's plenty of other cars out there without faults, why the car is for sale in the first place when it's not road worthy is disgraceful for a car yard. You may as well go private if you're gonna deal with car yards like this. Lots of other places will be happy to take your money, remember you're the one in control and you hold the money/power. Keep looking around.

I know it's not really Skyline related, but has anyone noticed that since around lunch time today (Sunday 12th), there has been continuous patrols of fighter jets across the metropolitan area in Melbourne? I was on Bridge Road around 3pm today and could just hear the roar of jets going past, about 5 mins later I heard and saw what looked like 4 FA/18 fighters going directly south over the CBD/inner city, saw them at least 2 times after that again flying back and forth in a straight line formation. Everyone kept looking up to see what the huge noise was. I live 35km from the city in the SE suburbs and for the last few hours have heard jets roaring back and forward at least 5 times now. why do jets need to be patrolling this far out of town for? I haven't actually seen them out here but you can tell it's them by the louder roar than standard commercial jets. Commonwealth Games has the air force on full time sky patrols across Melbourne? must admit it's pretty awesome but scary at the same time lol feels like we're at war! never seen fighters patrolling the sky like this before

God Dammit! - Done For Speeding =(

you think that's bad? I got 2 fines within 1 hour on the West Gate Freeway last month, one for 4km/h over the limit ($131 + 1 demerit point) and another for 12km/h over ($230 + 3 points) literally 45 minutes later -- both by new hidden speed cameras. you got off lucky never had any speeding fines before, or even been pulled over before! this link might help you too: http://www.justice.vic.gov.au/CA256E5F0003...s+for+speeding~ -

could I possibly change my name from WPNR34 to M34N? thanks in advance -
I'm in the same boat as illusive, thinking of doing the same thing to my NA 34. I wouldn't worry too much about the re-sale value of the car because even if you bought a turbo 34 and then modded it, wouldn't that effectively have the same effect on resale value? just a thought... Anyone else got any opinions? Many cars in the past have been NA and had turbo's bolted on later, Skyline or not! why is it any different if it's a Skyline? as long as the job is done by a reputable mechanic and the parts are good, why should anything go wrong?
-
strongly suggest you don't even consider drilling through any part of the car at all! the way I did it on my 34 was to actually take off the front driver side quarter panel of the car, there's about 8-12 screws that need to be taken off before the panel comes off. once you do that, you can see the massive rubber grommet where you can poke the cable through into the car under the coin holder/fuses, you can't miss it. I found that to be the easiest way, the rubber grommet is hard to see or poke anything through it. hope that helps.

Anyone got any R34 body kits for sale in the Melbourne area? more specifically the S.E. suburbs. thanks in advance
-
that kit looks pretty good, but what the hell is a R34 "GTS"? does the body for a R34 GT and GT-T vary or is it exactly the same? I thought they were identical but this made me wonder. I'm also interested in kits as well, thinking of getting one myself

love the wheels, have to admit I've never been the biggest fan of red Skylines but yours really looks great. but like the others I've never liked that rear wing on the R34's, it's just too big and overall it detracts from the rest of the car. lets face it, the 34's have a big enough ass without having a wing THAT big on it but really, yours looks awesome, by far the slickest red Skyline I've seen. congrats.

absolute GOLD! lol

oh yeah definate. we actually made eye contact as he was almost half way out the window. I don't mind copping the abuse if I do something wrong -- but when I mind my own business, obey the law and keep to myself... what do you say/do? there was a lot of d**kheads on the road tonight anyway so I wasn't surprised.

copped a beaut tonight on the Monash between Springvale & Blackburn rds... some feral in the passenger side of a white van down the right lane tailgating someone else and doing about 110, started screaming some dribble when they flew past me. is it me or am I the only one who thinks to themself "I hope you wrap yourself around a powerpole" after shit like this happens? just f**king pathetic people really
