  1. more info? s1/s2? location? compression? price?
  2. i don't think the GTR was built to beat the GT2's time, but just wait till the v-spec/nur/evo version is released...........
  3. i'd have thought the N1 would compare more with the 911 GT2 instead of GT3. stripped down, more power. whereas the GT3 has less power than the turbo.
  4. would u sell the hand controller separately? PM me to let me know. i will prb forget this thread otherwise.
  5. nuts! i'm very happy that the gtr is up there in the top lap times again.
  6. i read 7:38
  7. do u have pics of the steering wheel in "ok" condition?
  8. looking for a resistor pack for gtr injectors to fit onto an r32 gts-t. please PM if you have one available.
  9. can i ask how much it was for your HA's to be revalved by fulcrum?
  10. i think this is so true. my friends who have good records never get pulled up. the ones who have bad records always seem to have issues with cops.
  11. damn u! hahah well i've decided to have as much fun as i can with my aging gts-t and when the price of 34r's drop a bit more in the next couple of years, i'll get one =)
  12. Never been pulled up. But then again mine is stock from the outside (bar the exhaust and cooler). I also generally don't drive like a dick to attract attention.
  13. i'm not sure why u have oil leaking...but if i saw your gtr launching with the gallardo i would have creamed myself hahah
  14. but in that, buying a $30k GTR isn't gonna guarantee its life either. get it checked out by a pro before buying.
  15. i'm getting between 16-17l/100km. i can smell fuel inside the car...so not sure if everything is ok =|
  16. Since owning my R32 gts-t, i've almost always wanted it to be a GTR. I love everything about my gts-t, but it still lurks in the back of my mind that I still don't have the GTR. Am I alone?
  17. one of the towies who came to tow my car had extender ramps for the end of his tilt tray to flatten the usually steep incline of the flatbed. i think that unless your car is really super low, with some care they shouldn't have an issue getting your car up onto the flatbed. i also have a low mechanical knowledge and 95% of the time can't diagnose a problem unless it's jumping out at me...
  18. I have roadside assist and have used it mainly for towing. I signed up once when I needed a tow and have used it another time after that. Not sure how good the mechanics are at diagnosing problems on the spot though... How many others have roadside assist? Do you find it useful?
  19. Thanks for that link. So it looks like it depends on the state of tune and what the ECU tune is telling the injectors to do...?
  20. i don't like to think about it. it's around $6k on top of the purchase price with more to come very soon =(
  21. I was wondering whether a bigger injector would automatically mean more fuel use if everything else is the same? For instance, if i'm using a 550cc injector instead of a 440cc but making around 180rwkw, would i be automatically pouring more fuel into the engine just cos i have a bigger injector? Or would both injectors with the same setup be flowing the exact same amount of fuel for that power?
  22. Thanks Ryan. I work in Bayswater so i'll drop in on Monday to have a chat and look around!
  23. the rebuild pretty much comes with a major service too. all fluids, pumps, belts, etc. i actually don't mind paying the $1500 for the swap inc major service. was a bit surprised with the cost of the engine tho. i'm really having trouble finding a good, reliable workshop in melbourne to bring my car to. i don't have time to go around sourcing an engine due to work commitments, so i really need somewhere i can drive in and drive out and not have to worry about my engine dying for a while. thinking of contacting Chasers and RE Customs. any ideas on how these guys have been in the past? 180sx_luva, it looks like nissco does more datto and sr20 work?
  24. i've had a quote for $3k including a guaranteed low k's motor in very good condition and all labour with i think a 3 month warranty on everything. i know this is in the upper limit of getting an rb20 replaced, but i just need an opinion of whether this is just too much to spend on it? the breakdown was something like this: $1500 for guaranteed later year motor with low k's and full warranty $1500 labour + peripherals thanks!
  25. i think the projector headlights and standard headlights take different bulbs. h3c for projectors, not sure about normal headlights...
