  1. it actually does sometimes. today i also noticed i was doing 180kmh at 2500rpm in 3rd gear. then it went back to normal. weird =S i might just invest in a lock bar in the near future.
  2. The steering feels normal and my wheel is completely stock. Same with the suspension. It does go off after about 15 mins of driving tho and only switches back on if the wheels spin - but goes straight back off once there's traction again.
  3. I've read a couple of things about why HICAS lights come on (power steering fluid low, alternator gone, HICAS dead), but my situation seems a little different. It comes on when I cold start the car, and once I've been driving around for about 15 mins it switches off. Then it'll come back on only if things get a bit tail happy or traction is lost. Otherwise, it seems to stay off. Is this normal?
  4. nice hints! i'm gonna try it on the weekend.
  5. Does anyone have pics of R32 gts-t's with Work Meister S1's? Thinking of getting some as i LOVE the look of them but would like to konw what htye look like on an r32 first. Thanks!
  6. Found out that the HA's are 12kg/f and 8kg/r. Super stiff!
  7. just wondering if anyone knows what the spring rates are for the HA's?
  8. As topic, looking for a PowerFC for r32 gts-t. Thanks.
  9. yes, u can buy it as soon as u step out of the terminal. HK is a nice place. u'll have fun even if u don't find any cheap parts! go to Tsim Sha Tsui (sp?) and watch the city light show from across the harbour. i think it was nightly at 8. drinks are the same price as australia, but if u wanna try and go cheaper, just 7-11 it before having a night out as drinks are cheaper at 7-11 and drinking on the street is legal =P if u wanna sight see, go see the big Buddha and take the 5km cable car ride there. amazing feat of engineering.
  10. Does anyone have a GTSLink ECU/EMS they want to get rid of? If so, shoot me a PM. Thanks.
  11. Whoa...just near my work. Thanks!
  12. Where are Racepace located?
  13. thanks for the replies! how are they at putting power down? i'm running close to 200rwkw and read about skipping around as there isn't a lot of squat. but i'm sure it'll be better at putting it down than stock sussy, right?
  14. what are the spring rates on the Zeals? are they adjustable? will u post to melbourne, 3101?
  15. don't bother with the tripod. use ur arms and set ur camera focus onto something like "AI SERVO" (Canon's name for it). for canon users, it means that your cam will continually refocus with the trigger half depressed. i don't think manual focus would be a good idea for action shots. leave it to the camera to do the focus as it'll always be faster and more accurate than a human in times like that. main thing is to pan and get ur af points right.
  16. I've been reading as much as i can on the forums about suspension, SK's kit and Tein HA's. I've noticed a lot of complaints about the Tein HA's - in particular the harshness of ride. I don't really understand how harsh the ride is as i'm running stock suspension now, but would it be like go-kart stiff? or would it be able to be compared to anything else? Also, would it be any good for putting down 200rwkw? I've read a couple of stories with ppl having trouble putting power down with these coilovers although some seem to love them. I've read about SK's setup too, and it seems like a pretty good setup (user reviews) although i may be able to get the HA's for half the price. My question would be, should i spend the extra money and get SK's R32 gts-t setup? or go for the HA's? Thanks in advance.
  17. usually i don't do a great deal of post processing. i'll adjust lighting levels, white balance (if necessary), maybe slightly increase contrast and one stop of sharpness. that's about it. If u can, shoot at a lower ISO. this will lessen the noise. reasons being that noise is increased when more power is sent thru the CCD or CMOS to increase its sensitivity - which then gives a more 'cluttered' signal. but then again guys, don't worry so much about noise. just shoot - in the end, the only person who is pixel peeping is yourself. photography is still about taking photos =)
  18. do u have the centre cam cover? the one that covers the coilpacks. pm me if u do. thanks, dan.

  23. if its pretty stock, i reckon an RACV check will do. just go to www.racv.com.au and look for the 'pre-purchase' inspections.
