no probs. there's no leaks in the tyres and i haven't had to top them up since i got the car as they've held pressure. they haven't hit any large potholes or gutters either. i'm always cautious not to drive over them as it screws with the sussy setup too. they also haven't been tracked or dragged so there is no chance of them being warped through that either.

hey dude, i think u were looking at the r33 GTR offsets with a 10 inch wide rim and 275mm wide tyre with offset +20. according to the site, these offsets with tyres will fit: SKYLINE TYPE M R33 18X8.0 +33 225/40 R18 18X9.0 +39 255/35 R18 from what i know, the offset is the distance between the inside edge of the wheel hub and a space with measurement +xx. using that, the site u sent me and the tyre dimensions on mine as 235/40 R18 offset +40, i can almost be sure that it'll fit well as the +39 255/35 R18 is almost the same offset (-1 diff) fits and my tyres are 20mm narrower which means that it shouldn't rub on your guards and it won't stick out too much (10mm smaller on either side). correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm almost certain that's the way it works and therefore it should fit perfectly =) feel free to ask anything more.

If $500 is normal for a good tune which satisfies my problems, then i'm a more than willing to pay for it. I've just heard of guys paying $200-250 for a full tune which is a lot less.

AVO world eh...i might give them a call. I know there's a place in Richmond that tuned a mates car, but they also charge a fortune as he was charged somewhere in the vicinity of $500 depending on what needs to be done =| also, the car is an r32 gts-t.

My car is in dire need of a tune as it's running 220km to 50L of premium. I have a Link ECU and would like to know if anybody knows a tuner/mechanic that can help me diagnose any problems or lead me in the right direction of getting a few more k's out of my tank. Current mods: HKS 2530 turbo HKS cooler HKS cam gears Bosch fuel pump 3" turbo back exhaust GTR injectors Fuel regulator Link ECU Would it be as simple as a tune? Can anyone recommend a good Link tuner in Melbourne? Any help appreciated. Petrol consumption is killing my wallet

I'd take $350 at a minimum considering these are so cheap as it is. hahah that just goes to show how much of a bargain these are =P

i'm in melbourne i read that the turbo leak may be able to be stopped if i just check the inlet and outlet nuts. apparantely the steering rack will need to be rebuilt and the gearbox has to be dropped out for it to be repaired. can anyone confirm what i've read/heard?

I've got my 280mm front R32 GTS-T rotors for sale. They're the DBA 4000 slotted rotors with 0 k's on them. All I did was unpack them and clean them with a non-oil based cleaner but decided not to put them on my car due to financial reasons. Asking for $360 for both corners - this is almost cost price. I've got three oil leaks on my car. 1. Power steering rack 2. Rear gearbox seal 3. Turbo I'm not really sure how to fix them or what needs to be done. All i know is that the seals must be busted and will need to be fixed so i can get my rwc. Does anyone know how i can either fix them myself or a ballpark figure of how much it'll cost me to get it fixed? Would i need to take it to any special mechanic to get it fixed or can most do it? mmm i can say that the engine will be fine without the o2 sensor (dump pipe). drove around all day today with mine unplugged...so it can't be that.

hey man, i'm in kew. they'll be off my car before the end of the week and u can trial fit them then. if it makes it any easier, we can meet in the middle somewhere.

can i take a wheel off to measure the offset with a ruler? or is it a bit more technical than that?

quite sure the offset is +40. sits well on an r32 gts-t with no guard scrapage so i'm almost certain it'll fit on any other skyline with no issues.

are cars usually hoisted for rwc checks? today mine was hoisted and he picked up 3 oil leaks and front castor bushes that were starting to crack and wouldn't grant me the rwc because of these reasons. i always thought it was just a walkaround with short drive to ensure that the car was in a rw condition ie. brakes, tyres, wipers, lights.

Well, i took my car for a rwc today and he hoisted the car and told me that the front castor rod bushes are starting to crack and need to be replaced (along with 3 diff oil leaks). I was completely surprised that he even hoisted the car for the rwc check but that's besides the point...i guess... Am i able to buy two front castor rod bushes from whiteline or pedders and just replace them myself at home using standard tools at home? Any help appreciated!

i'd prefer to not swap as i'll be returning the wheels back to stock and would prefer cash. $900 negotiable with 4 good tyres guys!
