On the weekend Spotted a silver 33 gtr.. got a wave 2x black r33's at the entrance 1x yellow gtt at the entrance 1x R31 waved today: 1x black 32 plates gts??? southbound in the morning 1x red r34 gtt southbound on f3 around 4:00pm 1x black r33 gtst plates tom 25l or something at wahroonga.

Hey you mentioned your dad was a panel beater for 45 years did you say? He didn't happen to know someone/still knows someone who has any kind of link that can help you get into a performance workshop? Panel beaters/spray painters must have some form of link with workshops? Either fixing a quick scratch/ding on a car..etc?? (It's kinda obvious, and im sure that if it was possible; you would of done it already, but i thought i'd mention it anyway) They always say it's not what you know, it's who you know. A few people will disagree; but i know personally people who have gotten where they are today in the motor industry by the help of who they know... It'd be unreal to persue what you are trying to do.. working on high hp cars all day getting the most out of them etc.. would be unreal. All the best with it.

I think you are confused with an exemption. I looked into this for a long time and I have never heard of a permit, or paying money to be able to drive a prohibited vehicle in NSW. There was a "loophole" around the vehicle exemption where a fair few people got granted one because the only vehicle in the family was a V8 or turbocharged car. This has since changed and can not be done anymore. It is in bold print on the exemption application that you can't apply on the basis of this reason. It's $30 to apply for an exemption, and if you don't get it, you won't get your $30 back.
