  1. SSV is located at the corner of Huntingdale Road and Princess Hwy on the direction towards Dandenong. It is right after the junction, so you gotta keep left before you see the lights. It's a family business ran by the father and the son now. Pretty decent guys, however, one of my customers who came to import his 2nd skyline from me gave me negative remarks about them. :
  2. Normally you won't feel it immediately after you fill the gearbox, perhaps after about 100kms? Well, that's for my car. They work best when the car is warmed up though.
  3. Hmmm.. didn't you say you are new to Drag Racing? Now you say you took the car around Nurburgring? Insurance might be a bitch for you unless you are of a certain age Anyway, with $25k i can get you a very decent skyline. Depending on which model you prefer
  4. Few of my customers went to Power Road before they approached me. Not trying to give any negative comments but unless you have money with you, Shane won't really have much interest in talking to you.
  5. Just to add to the positive comments . Pretty good people, complied a few cars from them as well.
  6. LOL. Actually if the tyres from Japan are pretty new, the compliance shop might just pass it. Therefore, make sure you choose a car in japan with good tyres
  7. Basically, before you even pay for the car, check out the pictures properly and look for bits of rust around the body. The japanese agent i use always examine every bit of the car very cautiously. That's a real big plus point of using him. Most likely, you'll look at changing a new clutch. Certain clutches will not hold the power of the car. Normally GTR gearboxes are pretty tough, so that might not be a big worry. Don't forget to do a full flush of the brake fluid, oils, etc.
  8. How about checking the gears that are running your belt? Namely the A/C and alternator ones. Just a suggestion, maybe you can pop your bonnet and ask your mate to try and listen to where the source comes from when you start the car.
  9. Price is pretty good. Might be a little suspicious about the mileage on the odo as you can tell by the overall external condition of the car as well as the engine bay pics. Personally, i wouldn't recommend any of my customers to import in a car with rust but if Craig is willing to do a refund, i'm sure he is confident that the car will pass through. My 2 cents
  10. i did hear of stories that some people got their Xenon's through compliance by some RAWS workshops. Not sure if it's true but it's been done in QLD.
  11. R33s are indeed becoming more popular. IMO, the RB engines are pretty realiable and people became more aware of them. Some of the series 2s are going for as low as $16k, some as high as $23k for a well modded one. In japan, the skylines are coming out of the auction houses at a relatively low price too.
  12. Guys, i sat in this car before. Nice little ride. Clean interior. If you want something economical, this is it. The owner is my mate, he is one fussy person. Nice antenna u got there
  13. Thanks for the heads up Sir-D. Some car dealers in that area in Victoria are really dodgy. I myself had bad experiences before i went into importing the cars straight from Japan. What's more, i can get you one of those car for much less than that landed and complied with none of those problems
  14. I guess they have a monopoly there in Perth when it comes to compliancing. You can save heaps by landing your car in Sydney or QLD from japan and then doing all the compliancing there.
  15. A mate of mine have a 96 GTST S2. Did 190rwkw. Mods : FMIC 3" Exhaust from turbo SAFC Pod 12psi
  16. there were R33 GTRs going for really good price recently at the auctions. However, most of them ain't in the best conditions.
  17. twin tip muffler style will be slightly more expensive. If you have interest in that, i can help you enquire. Cheers
  18. Well there are dual cannon ball ones but they will be more costly. Which ones are you after?
  19. Guys, managed to strike a deal with the supplier. I'll need at least 5 interested parties to get this deal. Item: - 3" ReinHard full stainless steel cat-back exhaust system (Mandrel bend) with stainless-steel Cannon-Ball muffler. - Made in Japan. - Suitable for Silvias, Skylines, Supras. 20. Dezz, is your compliance workshop in QLD?? 40 hours is pretty far. Can i ask how much do you have to pay for the temp rego?
  21. Nur.Spec is right. Most of the compliance workshop only provides the engineer's cert and some do provide you with the RWC. I don't think they will bother to help you out with registration as that is not their so called 'field' of work.
  22. Oh my goodness..why are you selling it so cheap?? Will PM you to discuss about the price. BTW, you have all the service books and everything? Quite a clean car with low ks i reckon.
  23. What kind of 200SX you looking at? The S14s or S15s? I have an S14 available if you want to have a look.
  24. hey mate, good luck with the car. It's a really nice car guys, genuine Ks, honest owner.
