  1. Shannons won't insure anyone who had an accident within a year if i'm not wrong.
  2. definitely get the twin turbo supra instead. Saves you time and energy. Like what Goon said, you'll need to upgrade lots of parts. Really not worth it. Btw, when are you intending to upgrade to a TT? let me know
  3. How much does these FPV generate at the wheels? do they weigh like 1700kg or something? Nice coupe though
  4. LOL, NS2500 just put some monster truck wheels on them and you'll find out..
  5. Mate's Supra RZ, 2JZ-GTE in Melbourne made 235 rwkw at 1.3 bar with BP Ultimate. It's a black one with 19s and no spoiler, not sure if any of you guys seen it. Quite prominent. Tuned at ICE performance. Mods: K&N Pod filter FMIC Fujitsubo Cat back HKS Dump and front pipe i think 740 CC injectors Bosch 040 fuel pump Power FC Apexi SAFC and tomei poncams if i'm not wrong the supra pulls hard all the way past 140km/h i reckon. Ugly interior though, looks like a WW2 aircraft cockpit
  6. Gotta agree with Sir-D on that. Most people will choose Coupes but it all depends on your different needs.
  7. The journey on the boat takes minimum 14 days from japan to an Australian port. Ships from japan doesn't leave everyday and there is always a long queue of cars waiting for their turn to get on a ship. After the car arrives, it will go through quarrantine and check for soil underneath the car. If soil is detected, the car will be washed thoroughly ( charged in to your account ) and this will delay it even more. A customs agent will then take over and settle all the paper work including cost of freight, import duty, etc. This alone will take probably a few days. Compliancing all depends on how modded the car is, if it is stock then no problems it will go through in about 7 working days. If there are problems, it'll take about 2 weeks or so.
  8. Both are great cars. Depending on whether you need the extra space or not. R34s have the Neo 6 although it is still similiar with the RB25DET but it is newer nevertheless IMO. DennisRB30: I can get you R34 GTT sedans at a cheaper price than $28k No offence Rj34GTT. It all depends on the mods and condition of the vehicle.
  9. 12l/100km is as good as it can get for GTSTs. 400km per tank is pretty avg.
  10. Try this site : http://exvitermini.com/ sometimes they have nice R32 videos..normally they have mad gtr videos...
  11. Those GTT kits look real good. How much do they go for?
  12. LOL Tommo, a great way to show the length..haha
  13. Ultimate last night was $1.30 per litre at BP along Cheddar Road! =)
  14. Ask him for all these documents. It is best to have them just in case you might need them in the future. If the car has already been registered in QLD with car number plates, then you won't need those papers. If not, YES you'll need them.
  15. How about changing the dials to the NISMO ones with 320km/h and 9,000rpm red line?
  16. Build quality RB26DETTs are great engines. The only downfall with the GTRs are maybe the maintainence costs. You got 2 turbos to look out for. It is an AWD so many more moving mechanisms? Near stock standard they are really fast enough. Zorst, ECU, injectors, up boost and you can go pretty damn fast. If it is a daily, then you might need to look out for fuel consumption. They take quite a bit of fuel. Not many GTRs that are for sale now therefore choices are minimal. You can try importing one
  17. it controls the aerials of your radio if i'm not wrong. Either extends it all the way or just half way. It is on the left of the steering coloumn isn't it?
  18. Yesterday you said you paid jap spec service fees to ask them to get you one, today you say you bought one...hmm...that's fast Then what for ask for pictures from that guy?
  19. 1/4 mile should be low 13s? i reckon?
  20. anymore GTT owners? Please own up!
  21. What colour you looking for?
  22. If i'm not wrong, the last time i asked, this car has been SOLD.
  23. I had insurance with JustCar before. I had a turbo timer installed in my skyline. I just declare it to justcar and they are fine with it. Someone crashed into my car a couple of months ago, the JustCar staff came down to look at the damage, spotted the turbo timer and everything was fine still. Got my claim and case solved. As long as you declare them, you are fine. Cheers
  24. Try to avoid those that are sold in JB HIFI...they are pretty shit ones accept for the top end ones which will probably cost $450+
  25. From melbourne to perth will cost you about $940, can't get any cheaper as it is an overnight drive.
