Well yes there is, yesterday afternoon I was bored and had just got the last bits for the gearbox form nissan so put all that together and put the engine and box back in the car. I must say I am never doing that again by myself! My poor engine crane paid the toll and has a nice arch in the beam now. I will post some pics a little later after i tidy it up abit. Cameron

I am trying to track down somewhere to get a replacement Dipstick guide and Dipstick for a Rb20DET, I have spoken to nissan and it would take 3 - 4 weeks to get a set in from japan, and really want to get one local if possible. Another option is the rb25, or rb26 items but I am unsure if they will fit the block? If anyone knows it would be a great help. Cheers Cameron

You might as well use them as much as possible, because your not going to have them for much longer

A Screamer pipe allows the Exhaust coming from the wastegate from entering the exhaust system and dumps the gases into the atmosphere causing them to be very lous and tuff when controlling the boost levels

Well thanks to Kyle from 6Boost for dropping my new Exhaust Manifold off at 11:30 last night, I am now able to finish up the engine build as far as bolt on's go. Heres a couple of pics of the manifold, is A highmount T4 Split Pulse. Cheers Cameron

Update: My new intake plenum and SARD fuel rail arrived on Tuesday. I got them to make some mounts so I could use the SARD fuel rail on a rb20 plenum. I only have 2 pic's of the plenum atm. I am Expecting my 6boost Manifold to arrive tonight once Kyle drops it off Also forgot I received my new wastegate in the mail today fresh from the USA

I looked at a N1 pump for my current rb24 build but decided ona oem rb26 oil pump so not to flood the head and not require restrictors.

Well i got the gearbox on without much issue, looking at the wiring are the plugs different to the rb20 box or am i trying to hookup the wrong wires to the sensors?

Hey Johno, Transfer case was umm removed with an angle grinder so shouldnt be an issue

I am going to be fitting my rb24 build with the GTR gearbox I have for the project today, I was just wondering before I go to it is there anything I need to watch out for this will be the first time i have put a gearbox on an engine. I know I don;t need to line the clutch up as its a HKS tripple plate so the flywheel is built into it. Is the wiring the same from the rb20 to gtr box's? Cheers Cameron

My Sard 650's mentioned in the first psot didnt fit in the rail.

As far as i know all Sard injectors are 11mm, and the standard fuel rail is 10mm, so would require you to drill our the standard rial to 10.75mm there abouts. But don't take my word for it, I went an bought a Sard fuel rail just to be safe
