  1. Ok a quick update. My head gasket finaly arrived from Tomei Custom one 83.5mm bore and 1.5mm thick. Also New HKS oil cooler kit arrived in the same package. Plenum is off being welded by a fellow names GT somewhere down gold coast way not sure who he is but came highly recommended. So I am on the lookout for a rb20 billet fuel rail to suit 650cc Sard injectors, a 90mm billet throttle body and a nice thick alloy radiator. Can anyone recommend any they have seen around, prefer one where the butterfly actually closers cleanly. Cheers Pics will be up soon

  8. Hey Guys, I picked up 5 pairs of s13 lower control arms as I saw them at a price too good to miss out on, as I have seen them go at wreckers for $130 each for used ones. These are brand new units asking $200 for the pair pickup in brisbane isnt a problem, from sumner park. These are genuine nissan items as you will see in the pic below Cheers Cameron
  9. Ok an update, I found a headgasket in japan for th engine so thats delt with, but after lending my HKS cam's to a mate as his didnt arrive in time and then his oil pump dieing at the drift comp he was attending loosing all oilflow to the head and the exchaust cam jamming and snapping, we have decided to change the head setup to a solid lifter setup So far we are looking at using Rb26 272 cams Jun Valve springs and retainers rb26 valves which we are goign to get machined to suit the rb20 head, we are lookign at machinging them to about 1.5 - 2mm oversize from factory The bottom end is ready to be assembled but we arent going to do that until we get the head setup done so we can checp the pisotn to valve clearence. We where hoping ot be at Brisbane Auto Salon this weekend for the dyno comp but too many delays have slapped that idea in the face and looks like I will have to wait till next year now. Cheers
  10. would definetly choose the .63, if it was a built motor and you wanted more top end and didnt mind a bit of lag then go the .86
  11. when its cranking does it sound like its strugling? or sound like its turing over pretty easily?
  12. Guys, I need some assistance, After having a Head Gasket on order with Nengun for about 2 months, today I get a email from them saying they no longer can get the 83mm 1.5mm Trust head gasket, and if I order the Tomie item will be another few weeks wait. Does anyone know of a suppiler or shop in Aus who has one in stock that I can purchase for a price thats not going to break the bank? cheers Cameron
  13. Edit: I pretty sure its to do with the Dash unit but i could be wrong, I wondered the same thing when I had my microtech and somsoen told me that
  14. VL didnt come with a rb20det did it? When they put the rb20into it depending if they used the rb20det harnes or the original one for the rb30 the plugs might be different not sure not a holden type of guy. But if its tuned for his, and plugs straight into yours should work pretty well, as long sa you have pretty much the same mods as your mates car.
  15. Hi, Just adjusting some settings in my ecu and wondering if I have the correct trigger points for the CAS atm I have 100, 70, 40, 10 Is this correct, or can someone shed some light on what the rb20 points are? I know what they are for a rb25 but as the rb20 cas is different I have not a clue Cheers
  16. From what I can find they arent the same, My guess is seeing the turbo version has a much higher flow rate they would of used a different MAF to the n/a version.
  17. lol Porn I see no Porn I am happy with it as the car used to be black Thanks Roy will go for a quick squiz On a good note, got the head back today from being machined for more clearence on the under side for the valves to let the air flow baby
  18. did the rail come with the o-rings? if so measure the inside diameter and you might find its 13 or 14mm ment for larger injectors eg. SARD Nismo etc
  19. I think the difference is 3mm isnt it, stock is 11mm and aftermarket takes a 14mm o-ring?
  20. The turbo produces enough back pressure, i have run mine with no exhaust before just the turbo and it ran fine, bit lud and smoky but fine
  21. Roy, Care to lend me the link for this other rb20 stroker I am very interested As for good quality picks had my brother take some pictures this arvo very very rushed, let me know what you think.
  22. Geeze gimmie a break i can't afford all the goodies its eigther money to the car or the girlfriend, phones and toys don;t come into the equation
  23. LOL thanks mate yes i have a set of Ganador mirrors on order so don't worry, havent really worried about changing the mirrors as I have been concentrating on the engine side of things, the last time i drove the car was in january and was to the workshop and back I didnt spend $80usd on it lol it was donated so i thought what the hell, I will get some high res pics later today when my brother arrives with his camera, camera phone jsut doesnt do it
  24. A larger exhaust, mainly the dump pipe and front pipe will flow alot more efficiently, so you might gain 1 - 3 psi because there not as much load on the exhaust side of the turbo. On your boost controller you will just have to wind it back or change the duty cycle if this does occur
  25. Not sure if there is a difference, i have never seen them advertised and a N/A or turbo versions :S do you have any part numbers? I will have naother quick look around see if i can find anything
