  1. I would hardly call not making the podium failing... 4th is still better than a kick in the teeth
  2. Lacey's does good work but they're expensive
  3. at least paint something and slap some chrome in there... 50kw gain at wheels minimum
  4. I dont think anybody is looking to cut him down, i think its more the fact that people's perception is that he hasn't had to struggle in a minor team and really work for his success and climb his way to the top like so many others before him, his teammate for example. Nobody likes the new kid coming in and stealing 'the thunder' as most people see it, unjustifiably. Alonso, Kimi, Massa (espicially massa), Fisi etc etc all had to get into an F1 car and figure out the best race setup, wet setup, quali setup for themselves in an alien team with nobody holding their hand throught he process. Thats how you develop respect as a driver and a racer. To most people Lewis bypassed these steps and jumped straight into a WDC winning car and had it all done for him, no setup knowledge required... Ill bet that if NO information sharing happened in the Mclaren garage, theres no way Lewis would be where he is on the WDC table. People will like him over time, but as it stands now the crap that we're force fed every two weeks is getting to be a bit much

  6. ffs... dont they get embarrassed about some of the stuff they print?
  7. And now that i think about it, anyone else notice that Alonso wasnt wearing that rediculous Mclaren sponsor jacket that they always have to wear in the post race interview? He's done that a couple of times now and you can really notice it... Some behind the scene's drama perhaps?
  8. I think you find Kimi was the second man to pit of the front runners, he wasnt running heavy at all, both Massa and Alonso went 2 laps longer
  9. pics please
  10. YES!!! dirty dirty dirty... reminded me of the old schumi chop. It'd be a brave decision to penalise him in his first apperance at the Brittish GP though. The weaving down the Hanger straight i didnt mind, he was just keeping kimi out of the tow... and considering Kimi was well behind him i dont really see how he could complain
  11. He was one of the few drivers that acctually made Massa work for the pass, pretty much every car up until DC just let him through like it wasnt for position. He has more pride than that, and you have to respect that
  12. more engine bay shot please
  13. sooooo.... anyone root a sailor boy? ... nismo_god im looking in your direction
  14. J31 Maxima... with rims
  15. compared to what Heidfeld was doing to Kubica in the fist 5 or 6 races it is
  16. ... nice one shirley :sorcerer:
  17. dude... your a sick man for even remembering its existance most farked up movie EVER!!!!!!
  18. He's killing Heidfeld... What a form reversal
  19. Good race, lots of things happening... Massa's stalling has cost him third place in the championship and he is now where he belongs among the top 4. Kimi was very stong, was great watching him tail lewis at the end of the first stint. Alonso look really quick for the first time in a long time it felt like. He's still very dirty about having to give away all his data to his team mate which he feels negate's any advantage he may be able to develop to pull in old hamo's points advantage. And speaking of Hamilton, it was entertaining watching his struggle quite badly and ITV havng to come up with excuses for him. Their website is still mentioning him any chance they get ... and what was with the slow down lap footage? We were watching Hamilton wave to the crowd for a good 20 seconds when we could have been watching Massa v Kubica in the dying corners? Im sick of hearing about and even looking at this kid and he's driving for the team i support
  20. If we asume no mistakes, which to me it didntlook like there were any, Hamilton's best in Q2 with a 1:19:400, and the pole was 1:19:99, difference of about 0.5 secs Alonso did his best on 1:19:1, and in Q3 made 1:20:1, which is a whole 1 second more than his best. I'm guessing he is much heavier, by several laps laps, than hamilton. Could be wrong but that seems like way too much of a difference considering how fast and how consistant Alonso was during all the quali sessions.
  21. Very exciting, snactching pole away after the clocks stopped... Kimi will be filthy about the last corner off track excursion. Now he starts on the VERY dirty side of the track along with Massa Hopefully should be a good race
