Its another example of ITV chossing to ignore 'their' drivers as not to give them bad press and put pressure on the driver. Just cause you didnt see it on the news doesnt mean people arnt talking. The media is a powerful thing, and if you not informed enough about the right things they'll try to influence you to see the F1 world the same way they do.

The reason Spyker is taking them to court is so that both teams do not qualify for world championship points at the end of the season. Thus moving Spyker 2 places up the table to finish 9th in the constructors championship. This place is worth roughly 10 million pounds more to the team as a reward by FOM. That i would suggest is quite a lot of money to the team as their budget would be significantly smaller than most/all the teams. I personaally think they have a point and hope that both STR and Aguri are banned from points.
