you must hav got up on a cold morning gone to start the car drive off and it just doesnt drive properly. It lags, stutters and genrally isnt happy leting it run for a minute eliminates most of those issues and most importantly of all it gives u peace of mind. thats the main reason people do it P.S. who gives a shit about their neighbours?? haha i hate mine with a passion

i got a two sound bytes of a V10 fly by then a V8 flyby and they do sound similar but u can pick one from the other... i'd post it up but i dont no how V10 flyby still gets me slightly wet every time i hear it

you could be anal retentive and do both!! like so many others do... but realisticly giv it a couple minutes to warm up and treat it with respect for a bit. when it comes to cooling it down, just set the timer according to how hard u drove it. for example if u thumped it on the way home give it 4 min to cool down, but if u cruised it home give it 2 min to cool down dont be one of those shmucks that gives it 10 mins to warm up before you drive it

they are racing in V8's because the FIA said that F1 cars were getting too fast and becoming a danger not only to the spectators but to the drivers aswell... drivers necks couldn't stand the G forces that the cars were doing around corners and under braking. So the best they could come up with to slow the cars down was thro engine capacity and size

apparently the final testing times are of no real relevance unless u check them carefully... you really have to see how these cars perform on long runs because a lot of teams hav been known to take wieght out of the car and de-restrict some engine parts just to throw in a quick one for the media right at the end of a test testing day *cough Ferrari cough Honda cough* in reality its Renault and Mclaren again this year...

i used to work at Golden Circle, and they got this stuff that'll burn the skin clean off your hands... wen u squeeze the peel of an orange u get this acidic juice... they process the stuff into wat Golden Circle call "citrus oil" if you can find that, u got no worries
