Since when should a choice of car be restricted because of potential harassment?? --well since right now you moron. Yes driving a skyline will get you pulled over. Yes you will get defected if you have a loud exhaust,BOV, any other modifications that the cop thinks are illegal. Yes cops hate skylines. And don't be unclear on it, there's nothing stopping someone who doesn't like you, from putting in a smoky vehicle report so you too have to pay the $35. --I've been there and done that with the EPA's on my last car; r33 gts-t with straight pipe exhaust, no cat, no resonator. Sounds fantastic but what do you expect of course i got done leb style by the cops and EPA. With my current car i get left alone which is why i had to get rid of my skyline; i loved that car to bits but i cbf with all the crap that came along with it and i didnt' want to have it stock. If you are keen on badmouthing skylines and their drivers, wtf are you doing on *this* forum? Just because you'd be happy to live under a dictatorship doesn't mean the rest of us would, no need to preach your propaganda here. --I'm not bad mounthing skylines or their drivers you f*ckwit. All i said is what do you expect? If you have a skyline with an exhaust or modified your bound to get an EPA sooner or later...people put illegal modifications on then bitch and moan when they get done. Lets face it even with a stock skyline you will still get pulled over; i returned mine to stock just before i sold it and i still used to get pulled over for random checks. Nothing was illegal on the car and the cops would me go. Its simple..if you want to get left alone keep your car legal. If you want to have all the modifications etc on it then go ahead, but dont come on here bitching like a whore when you get done........

what do you expect driving skylines around.........every dumb ass cop knows they can defect a skyline; 90% of em are illegally modified whether the owner sees it that way or not. Bottom line is your in the wrong. You can keep telling yourself your not and keep paying the fines. Me personally i f*cked off my skyline for a stock s2000. Sure its not as quick but at least i dont get pulled over and fined every week for something or another and i can drive it where i want, when i want wihtout any trouble.

back when i was about 17 one of my mates was 18; the rest of us were all under 18 so he was the only one with a licence and his mums wheels. Anyhows one night no1 had any cash and we wanted to go out for a cruise; so we went down the street to the old datsun. It was missing its petrol cover lid so we had direct access to the petrol tank. We didn't have an auto-siphoner so we used to just grab a 20 ltr jerry can and a 2 metre length of garden hose. We'd walk down there under the cover of night and there was always an argument before hand on who had to 'start the siphon' - which was done by sucking on the garden hose inserted into the petrol tank like a massive straw hehe. If you were lucky u'd get a mouthful of petrol, unlucky you might swallow a little bit and if ur really unlucky like my mate he got the siphon started, it went into his mouth, he pulled out the hose from his mouth and it got him all over the face and in the eyes lolllllll I remember him saying 'I CANT FKN SEE!!! I CANT FKN SEE' so my other mate holding a ciggie goes over to help him lol stupid twats. karma eh.......Maybe its payback for my antics back when i was 17!

Hey All, I went to Box-hill shopping centre to do some shopping over the weekend, so naturally i parked in the box hill shopping centre car parking. I finished my shopping and returned to my car, to find that the petrol tank cover was open. I walked over, and the first thing that came to my mouth was 'F*ckin Muthaf*cking C*nts'.... upon closer inspection my petrol cover had been jimmied open with some sort of instrument.......Why would one break into someones petrol cover though? I started up my car and from full tank........mate i must of had about 1/4 left! Haha i actually found it quite pitiful and amusing and did have a bit of a laugh about it. I couldnt' believe it i'd just been SIPHONED!!!!!! The damage to the petrol cover wasn't too bad, just a few paint chips on the inside of the petrol lid/cover so at least they did a good job and didnt' damage much. F*ckin povo c*nts......i mean $1.40 a litre is bad but ppl are going around looting ppl's petrol tanks like its gold or something! I imagine with rising prices you will get all sorts of peasants siphoning petrol out of unsuspecting car owners!!!!!!!! during the day as well......big deal i guess $40-50 in petrol and a few scratches/paint chips on the petrol cover......its the principle though! I've never 'stolen anyone elses petrol'.....( well......apart from the B.P in mill park!!! but that was ages ago....) You guys might want to beware of peasants stealing petrol......you'll go shopping, come back and bang u've been drained for all ur worth! hehe.

look man your car is gone. They probably wont be stupid enough to advertise it on trading post or anything like that. Most likely the car has been stripped down or taken interstate. Your only chances of getting it back is if the car is being driven around and they get pulled over by the cops and they discover its stolen. If its being stripped which is much more likely then you have jack shit chance of getting anything back. Its unfortunate but you will learn the lesson the hard way - always have comprehensive insurance and make sure your car has an immobiliser. Good luck.

its your own fault for driving an un-insured car. Many a skyline owner has been fkt over by driving uninsured cars, including myself! Dont drive something you cant afford to insure!!! - I now pay $2200 a year insurance but at least i have piece of mind. Some of you may say 'aww na na i'm a sick driver etc, but what about in situations where its not your fault i.e this one? if you cant afford to insure the car comprehensively and you still drive it your an idiot!

Im bumping the crap out of this because i still have a couple things laying around i would like to see gone. - rear tail lights $220 ONO - boot lid and wing $200 ONO All are in excellent nick and are not damaged. Paint is still very good also. Tail light come with all bulbs and wiring. The bootlid has regassed shocks and all standard badges. Wing mounted tail light not included due to already having been sold. MAKE AN OFFER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im surprised no one wants the airbox i couldnt find one for 3 months and ended up paying $200.. the epa is killing us in Melbourne... try just advertising the airbox maybe u hav better luck bud
