  1. There is now plenty of actio in my pants!
  2. f**k off!! This is by far the highlight of the season for me ok, china was still probably the best race, but this is right up there
  3. how good does that look?!? whoever thought red was ever going to be his colour need to put away the whack pack
  4. fuck massa and the donkey he rode in on
  5. If you read his 2008 season review you can see that there were more than a few times where circumstances out of his control robber him of big points hauls; - A driving style that did not suit an understeering Ferrari, especially in quali (which seems to still be very apparent in the F150 italia) - Drive thorugh penalty for team failing to prepare correct tyres in monaco (which snowballed into his accident with sutil) - Lewis robbing him in canada of a win - Exhaust failure in france gifting massa the win - Rediculous we weather calls by his team in silverstone - European GP engine failure - Italian GP quali fiasco (by both mclaren and ferrari) leaving him 14th - Handing massa second place in china And yet somehow matched a record of 10 fastest laps out of the 18 races. In my opinion only, i think he was very unhappy at Ferrari and a horrible season only compounded his misery. He then took the very next opportunity to return to Mclaren, but for whatever reason didnt pan out that way. I think the motivation story thrown around is true to a point. Its not tht he didnt want to go racing, he just didnt want to race for Ferrari anymore.
  6. One of my favorite pics from monaco last year Yes the tickets were too expensive, and yes it was unreasonably hot, and yes the race wasnt 'thrilling' but fcuk me its good to see how the mega wealthy spend their money
  7. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA The iceman is back motherfuckers!! Too bad its not back at home with louie but you'll take him in whatever he's wearing
  8. I think fans really gloss over how serious the lack of ability to take instruction the Redbull guys seem to have. It seems like a bitter personal grudge match between the two. They get away with it because their package is dominating. Pressure from Redbull management is far less intrusive than for teams like Mclaren Ferrari etc. If Seb was 4th in the WDC and DNF'd his last race, then went for fastest lap in the next race while leading, his antics would not be looked upon so favourably. The problem is, i think he'd go for it anyway. More power to him if it means that much to him, but it will bite him soon and hopefully the consequences arent championship changing for him
  9. lol bit keen arent we going to be no action till feb!
  10. so whats the go with this? how does the story end!
  11. Every race is a bit much I cant see why they couldnt run a few days testing after a grand prix weekend. Tracks already setup, teams are already there and fans could get tickets to it or something Have like... 4?... of these spread evenly over the course of the year and BAM. Low cost, easily organised, everybody is happy How fcuking hard is that?! Who need Jean Todt when im giving these pearls out for free
  12. Whats dissappointing is that even after 19 races, the gaps between each of the front runners has remained fairly static Bulls out in front Mclaren challenge 50% of the time Ferrari picking up the pieces Mercedes bringing up the rear 9 months of knowing pretty much how the race was going to end up, short of rain. Unless somebody does something magical between now and march, im expecting next year to be a carbon copy. The in season testing ban has stopped any kind of significant performace mix betweeen teams. If Vettel wins by some margin in Melbourne next year, i might start giving some of the races a miss next year. Monza and Valencia for example. Just have to wait it out and hope for the best with the turbo era
  13. From what I'm told, wasn't the most exciting race of the year The gearbox for vettel seems a little sus, but its a bit late in the season for those kind of accusations
  14. quali was not worth getting up for unless it rains, this may not be worth staying up for
  15. oh why, oh why cant that front splitter be somehow manipulated onto the road car pure horniness
  16. i just fcuking love the name 'Roman' missus isnt on board with i unfortunately
  17. i dont think there even is a cooler car than a worked '69 camaro
  18. Not a very innovative or interesting exhaust from Mercedes. This from the same basic bunch of guys that produced a real pearl a few years ago. Hopefully we get some more inspiring solutions than that
  19. As long as we arent losing any more power through this change ill be fine with it Hopefully, more than anything, we get a great sounding grid out of all this
  20. Honda do have plenty of experience with turbo powah through their association with indy/champcar, so its not like they're starting from zero. Sure its two very different things, but with all the teams starting from scratch there'll be plenty of scope for 'interpretations' of rules. So any experience counts, no? Not to mention the 80's turbos were pumping out pretty impressive hp still, in saying that... i dont like it
  21. 'McLaren to swap Merc for Honda power'
  22. some interesting reading in that
  23. a ferrari last for 12 continuous hours? you must be joshing
