I dont think there is too much in common with the UK and US hosts. The only equivalent host would be Ferrara and seems to put it on a bit. Given time i think he'll come into his own. With Tanner on the show, i like that the stig is only really a lap time guide. Never really been a fan of that aspect. Look forward to them doing more car reviews and less challanges. Selfishly i suppose, i want to see more of the Aventador

So i watched all the episodes over the past week, and its fantastic. They have a lot of their own challenges and ideas, and most importantly, its rarely boring and always funny. Their guests leave a bit to be desired, but who really gives a shit about that anyway its also nice that they give the brits shot about their cars

After hearing the horrible news about Dan Wheldon over the weekend, it was at least some good news to hear that Lornenzo has had a completely successful surgery to allow him complete mobility in his hand again. If he makes it back this season ill be surprised, but im sure he'll want to make some kind of comback before the season is over.

Im am literally the last person in the world to defend anybody from the FIA... but, the DRS activation point/zone is a fair bit of guess work this year and so far i think they have done a pretty good job, with one or two exceptions of course. Having to take into account different track layouts, car speeds, fanboys etc. cant be easy to calculate. The expectaion from fans for the FIA to get it perfectly right every race in the year of its inception is just not reasonable Next year, if they continue to fcuk it up, then everybody can let rip

I never though of it like this, Vettel and Hakkinen have won the same amount of races and WDC's and yet, vettel is still thought of as mostly lucky and not really racers racer? Hakkinen is much loved and respected by most if not all pundits. It has to be more than just Vettel is less likeable than Mika surely
