what??
obn topic, i am running the stock BOVs, with PFC, and a safe tune on it. mine backfires quite a bit. it even throws flames sometimes at high rpm. i believe it is quite safe, it is just running a tiny bit rich.
i actually went to school with him...thats why i hear all these stories from him, haha. nothing bad of course. i have talked to john personally once, and he sounded good
i havent seen any RBs which does not backfire....
your tune is probally a safe tune, which means it is a little bit rich...which can cause backfire. mine is exactly the same
lota....haha i know a wanker who used to live there...abusolutely wanker...
sorry to hear...this is what worries me the most as well, thats why i need to get a second car
u do need to worry about your block if you constantly do 10000rpm launches...
or if your bore your block too much...running stock capacity, your block is pretty much bullet proof..cant see the point of buying a N1 or group A if you dont use your car for drag racing
i do wanna maintain the street drivability, but it will see some track days.
by talking to another owner who is running twin GTRS on his stock RB26, these turbos are way too laggy on the street....i think i am going to stick to GT2860s-5
what else have you got in your motor?? stand 2.6L? cams?? see 3000rpm is not too bad...care to share a bit more?? cheers
thanx guys, just i thought this thread was dead
out of curiosity, how much does the 044 flow??? does it flow more than a standard GTR pump?? also do i have to modify the brackets to fit a 044?? cheers
