P Licience Laws?
frankxinyu replied to R34NRG's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
i think QLD transport is thinking of doing the same thing pretty soon. for those who have got their Ps, its not gonna be a problem. BUT if u get it after they bring in the restriction, it would be pretty tough. So i would say give QLD transport a call and find out what u need to obtain a QLD drivers license. Im pretty sure u do need a residential address as u have to prove u live here. -
North of Brisbane aye? ive been living there for the last four years. as i said, i did have some problems but very rarely. most of the ppl r nice(specially ppl who love cars ). Do have to say, there r f**ken wankers everywhere in every race( spelling right??). Im an asian, but i dont have any problems with any one, no matter what colour your skin is.......
-
true, Brisbane is so much better in terms of that. Being an asian myself, i do have some problems when ppl r drunk. But most of the times, everyone is all sweet. it looks pretty bad down in sydney, isnt it? even im overseas, i can still hear everything on the local news every day from Sydney.

Engineering Done !!
frankxinyu replied to TokyoTaxi's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
so where can i get all these done in QLD? QLD transport or something? also, what do they check when u get your aftermarket wheels engineered? -
Speaking of pizza boy, i was one myself. done heaps of deliveries in Dominos Echo, had a lot of fun as well.and this does help as it gives me heaps of experience.lol

i see that car all the time at the casino. its a really old guy driving it and im not sure if its a GTR or not. someone was telling me its only a GTT with GTR badges on it. do u guys know anything about the white EZY34?
-
i know its random, but just have been wondering who is the member No.1 here? i know prank is No.3 and he is the big guy atm. thanx guys.

mate, in terms of safety and shit, i would NEVER recommand anyone to buy S15s for their first cars. a mate of mine bought my old S15 for his first car, and guess what, he wrote it off and nearly killed me in the car. S15s r lighter than R34s(even tho they r both RWD) and they have similar power output . so that leads to s15's tail crapiness if u dont know what u r doing. (thats y they r so good for drifters). trust me, u dont want a s15 b4 u r experienced even tho they do look good.
-
first of all, when did u get your P?i cant remember the date, but if u got it only recently and u r still going for it, u can NOT drive that car as there is a high-performacne-vehicle restriction now on ur license in your state. u r right as there r ppl driving GTT R34s on their Ps, but they got their P plates b4 the restriction got brought in. so if u cant drive it, tough luck mate. Also, a highly-modified skyline no matter whos driving it will pull heaps of attention from the boys in blue. dont know what it has on the car but one thing for sure is that at least it looks modified. and thats all it matters for the cops. think about it b4 u make any decisions. i know money is not a problem for u, but driving a car like that needs a lot of experience as well as skills. maybe u need a shitbox for half a year??

thanx mate for the info. all i can do now is wait and see. hopefully it turns out all right. a turbo time wont cost much any way. -
yeah, i would say Mercury motorsport at newmarket. Trent is a really good bloke and they know what they r doin. Also, try GT Auto. its only a small workhop but top quality with their work.(GT Auto is not far away from Mercury)

What Would You Pay For This R32 Gtr
frankxinyu replied to arrow's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
yes, it is. u can import a grade 4.5 97 GTR R33 V-spec for that price from japan(including everything, even the fees for the broker). thats my opinion any way. But its really hard to find a immaculate conditioned GTR R32 nowadays. thats probally y its that much. -
Bump mate, there was a guy on Boostcruising asking to buy a S14A. i think u should talk to him.(maybe u already have) sorry cant remember the name of the thread. good luck mate.

i was in the same situation b4. had been driving an auto for a year b4 i decided to take lessons from a driving instructor. 6 lessons later got my manual license and started driving manual cars. the only difference is that i get a car from work which is manual. so i had heaps of practice b4 i bought my own. a GTST R32 shouldnt be too hard to drive any way as long as u drive accordingly imo. just make sure u dont do anything u r not 100%sure u can do it on the road. as someone else said, go to a carpark if u need but it wont take u long as soon as u start driving on the road.

its getting shipped to brisbane as far as i know. a broker is acting on my behalf atm coz im overseas. so ill ask them to check when it lands. luckily the only thing i have is a turbo timer. that wouldnt cost that much as long as they done steal anything under the hood. -

hi guys, got a question to ask. ive actually got a GTR coming from japan and after ive been reading about the theives on the boat, im a bit worried. so just wanna know is it common to have your parts stolen on the boat or not?? cheers. -
never had them to do any work for me; but ive talked to danny in person and he seems to be all right. just heard a lot of stories about them, thats all.
-
i think they r at kedron now behind the WOW sight and sound; u know ive heard a lot of stories about them; BUT u know according to some teenagers on boostcruising, ADD is the only place to be if u wanna modify cars. wonder how they can be so famous in that age group.
