apparently, LM limited edition is a special edition of V-spec. so every LM GTR R33 should be a V-spec. there could be a few aftermarket resprays tho. im not really sure about the difference between a vspec and a LM tho. mechanially i think they r pretty much the same. the sticker below only comes with LM edition; so if his car has it on the car, it is a real one.

ive bought a GTR R33 from japan recently. still waiting on it tho. after i read what u guys wrote, im starting to worry...... fingers crossed

one thing i know for sure, Cold air intake(try a pod filter in a heat shield), a FMIC(be carefully with choosing the right one coz shitty ones will only increase the lag especially when u run the stock turbo), Wind the boost up to around 12psi which is safe enough, do the exhaust( dump pipe, hi-flow cat, and exhaust), u will get a significant power increase. usually u can tell the difference with the power of the car.

as a matter of fact, GTRs r as heavy as the GTSTs, but RB26 makes the difference( they r completely different engines from RB25) again, there r quick RB25s around; it will cost a bit money, and getting the power down is another issue when it goes over 350+hp on the rear wheels. Internally, Rb25s r not as strong either. Rb20s r different; never done any work to it so i cant say anything. but the usual mods will increase the performance but dont know by how much. S13 r great cars; personally i prefer the SR20 to the Rb20; they r light and have so much fun to drive; and after all, u can find mods designed for them easily. my opinion any way.

u know y? coz they were GTST. dont call skylines slow till u test drive a GTR. (no offense to any GTST owners.) but they r the true spirit of skyline. kinda agree with u tho; had more grunt with a s15 than a GTST R33. dunno y.

im getting a GTR R33 pretty soon and just wondering how can u tell if your turbos on the R33 r getting worn out or not(the car has done around 68000 ks)? im asking this becoz the ceramic turbos do have failures after a while and when the wheel falls off the turbo and gets sucked into the motor, i would be f**ked. any help would be appreciated. thanx

Yeah, Autoshop is pretty good and they would get u a pretty decent car. Also, im currently buying a car from japan through SVi the guys there r very helpful as well. havent had any dramas so far. About AJM, bought a car off them b4 as well and did NOT have any problems for the whole year till i sold it. a bit over-priced as usual so i lost some money on it. but at least it had no dramas.

i only like veilside kits somehow. they look good on anything, R33s, S15s. and RX7s.

and y is everyone so abusive nowadays? i only mentioned buying a GTR and now i got paid out. first of all, i did NOT cause the accident; then i did NOT say im a F1 driver. y cant i just happen to like GTRs? so should i just give up and buy a echo or somthing just becoz im not over 30 and u think i cant drive ?

i think u misunderstood me. what i was saying was that if u cant control ur foot in the wet, problem happens.( its just easier for a S15 or any turbo RWD cars to get wheel spin in the wet) specially for ppl who have only got their license not very long ago. thats what i was sayin, there is nothin wrong with s15s. i had been driving that car for a year and did not have a single accident b4 i sold it.

cant agree with u more. s15s ( or any silvias) can be really dangerous to drive specially in the wet if u dont know what u r doin. if u drive the way u would in the dry condition( exactly what he did) in the wet, u r gone. as simple as that. thats y i sold it and gettin a GTR.

i know what it looked like, but purely it was an accident. yes, he was spinning his wheels, but not on purpose as u drive in the rain in a RWD turbo charged car, u just can not put ur foot down, can u. as soon as i started yellin in the car( tellin him he was spinnin the wheels, he paniced and put his foot on the brake and thats y the car started lookin its sliding sideways. then everything happened. we told all we could to the police and of course it has to be his fault. i do feel sorry for the ppl involved coz they did not do anything wrong at all. luckily the lady was al right. so were the others. can u send me some pics of it as i did not take any at all. just pm me if u dont mind. i wouldnt call him a knob coz he did not do any stupid shit on purpose. but definitely he needs to learn how to drive in the rain specially in a high power car. dont blame the lady if she is upset. i would be myself. but it just happened as it is now.

okay, so they r completely the same with any other GTRs, just a special colour? coz i really like the look of the car, and just tryin to find out other things about them. also, would a 96 model have Xeon lights on them? that is Series 2 i think with twin air bags.

thanx mate, r there many of those in aus at all? coz im thinkin of buying one from japan, and the colour looks really good. in terms of re-sell values, the rare colour ones would be a little bit better coz nowadays its so hard to sell a GTR.

does anyone have and has anyone heard of Le Mans V spec limited edition GTR R33 b4? apparently they come in champion blue colour. what difference do they have? saw one in japanese auction and its hot.
