Yeah mine occasionally does this too, with quickshifter installed also. I think its just the syncros are a bit shagged, doesnt bother me too much though, good old R33 gearboxes -
^ yeah it should be sweet. The stock ECU usually runs rich as so you'll be fine, as long as you always use PULP fuel.

If you're running stock boost you should be ok, as long as you use Premium fuel ie 98RON+. Stock sidemounts can only do so much to cool the air, but if you're running higher boost your almost certainly gonna run in to problems. Audible pinging = not good. Sounds like a shower of ball bearings on a tin roof. Not good.

Again, way too much work and effort. Then you've gotta upgrade the brakes, get engineer certificates. A GT-T is just like your car... except much better.

I agree with the above statement. I too am from the ACT, and i too experianced the same effects as Amaru. I filled up at one of the most popular Shells servos and experianced audible pinging and higher knock readings, but on BP its always a very low reading and havent heard any audible pinging at all. I just dont get it.

Dont bother, way too much work and money involved. Sell the GT-V and buy a GT-T.

I just heard the car was recovered from a carpark in Braddon apparently... Sounds like they werent out to rebirth the car, sounds like something behind the carjacking was the cause, like nsanity was saying.

I wouldnt be so confident, i did that when i go my car rego'd... but sure enough, the "random reinspection letter" came after amount a month of rego. The guy who passed my car called the RTA and asked one of the dudes, they said he could pass me.

Should be fine. I would be more worried about the front mount intercooler to be honest. Although me and my mate went thru dickson with his car with a massive front mount and no reo bar and a massive mouth cut out of the front bar and they didnt really care.. As long as your not too loud and your ground clearance is ok then you'll be sweet.

I passed my rego inspection with an Air pod. They're legel here aslong as they are secured and wont move around...

If your only thinking about selling, and your not desperate for money, slap a price tag that you want to get for the car. Let the people come to you, and the serious one will come if your prepared to wait for them. I hate seeing people that are desperate to sell cutting like 6-8 grand off the price tag just coz they need a quick sale - thats gotta hurt.
