Ahhh okay... I have only had my 360 for about 2 weeks so I am still learning the ins and outs... Sounds like there is going to be some tough competition... I hope it allows the basic driving aids like ABS TCS etc cause I am still using those in my career mode

I will be more then happy to be in it... dont think I will win it but I will gladly make up the numbers And as for the assists... there is no way to prove whether people use the assists or not is there??? Based on that assumption its probably better to allow the assists to rule out any unfair play...

To be honest I took the easy way out in Dark Crusade.... I completed it under Chaos but only defeated 2 armies... I basically spent all my turns reinforcing my areas, meanwhile the other teams eliminated each other and I just had to eliminate the last enemy The only other tip I can give you is when you are attacking the enemy, its actually easier to attack their main base instead of other sections of the map, well I found it was anyway cause the map is structured to the story line... Hope some of that made sense

I chose to get the limited collectors edition forza 2, went to EB and the sticker price was $110 (well good enough $109.99 or something like that ) .... so walked up to the counter and asked to buy one, the bloke got it out the cabinet and then scanned it at $89 ... He just said to me "pretty good deal hey" ... Needless to say... I was pleasantly surprised Played it for about an hour last night... Took my decently modded Tommy R34 GTR out for a few races online.... all I can say that it was great fun... My GTR ( Class A ) was eating the other cars off the line but I need to look at the balance a little cause braking and getting round the corners was a little tricky

Both GameTraders and EB Games here in Perth have dropped the price.... Gametraders are selling the Aus spec PS3 with hi-def cable included for $850 and EB Games in the Perth CBD are selling their PS3 for $845. And thats without a trade in or any other fancy offer.... walk in and thats the price.. Although who can complain for $760 to your door

As I said before... the shelf price of a ps3 now is $845.00 so yes you could save a little from ebay, but not as much as when they were $1000....

I have the beta... but I gave up the other night as it took so long to load the map that as I entered it, the battle finished.. This happened to me 3 times in a row

I think you will find Mark of Chaos is newer... but one is based on fantasy and one in sci fi...

Oh I was talking about Warhammer: Mark of Chaos.... Dark Crusade never crashes for me

As for prices for the PS3... I have seen it selling for $850 retail at both Gametraders and EB Games... so they are starting to come down in price somewhat.... still a bit pricey though...

2) If you are referring to the 2 clips on the passager side foot kick panel, they were used to hold the road side emergency flares back in japan... alas I reckon only about 40% of cars arrive here with them still attatched... Me thinks they get taken along the way for people to have fun with

You mean Warhammer Mark of Chaos... the newest one based on the Warhammer Fantasy ( I am a tabletop wargamer too ) I have played it briefly... looked like it had some real good potential but my version crashed... alot. But downloading the latest patches might help solve that..

I tried Civ IV but got turned off cause there appeared to be a turn/time limit... I like to be able to take my time.. develop my armies and slowly expand... It certainly didnt meet my style of gameplay

Just to stir the thread up some more I was originally 100% commited to the PS3.. the price turned me off a bit, but thats okay with the price of technology and all... right up until I heard that Sony ripped out the backwards compatibility chips for our market... Thats plain rude... In summary.. I will purchase an XBox instead now But I do like both consoles

Hmm well I am a fan of the Dawn of War series so I would give them my vote... once you get the 2 expansions there are sevaral different races and units to have fun with... Another good strategy game I thought was Company of Heroes... based on WW2, just the way the units and special abilites worked with the destroyable city was really fun If you like diablo II then maybe Neverwinter Nights 2 might also be worth a try... similar kind of game but a bit more complicated in the way you choose a character type and develop it... much better storyline and such though
