Yeah... they will tune if on the dyno.... its probably a bit safer winding it out on a dyno than going 200 down the public roads... ahh not that I have ever done that for the record I already had the parts ( Bought them from Nengun ) so I just payed them to install. I just put it on my credit card. I don't know if they have "accounts" so to speak... I wouldnt think so.... not unless you are a regular or something like that maybe...

Its a HKS intercooler kit. So far my list of performance mods is a bit limited... Turbo Back HKS Exhaust HKS Airpod HKS FMIC Apexi AVC-R Unfortunately my clutch died directly after installing the FMIC so I have absolutely no idea what kind of power its running. I am getting a new clutch on thursday so once thats in I will drive around aimlessly until its bedded in, then back to Xspeed to dyno and tune the AVC-R. Will let you guys know the results then... They use the Genie dyno in Myaree ... Whats the opinion of their dyno??? Hi?? Lo???

Yeah I am 99.9% Extremely happy with the job... They fitted my Cooler/Piping and AVC-R and all looks great... They only lose that 0.1 because they must have missed something putting my front bar back on because the side popped off when I got home. I have tightened the screws and such so hopefully thats fixed too, so it should be all good. What time are you peoples going to SST tonight???

Someone suggested this to me a while ago.... It uses the sensor light theory but instead of having the light shine on the car when the sensor goes off, put the light say above your bed so it will wake you up without alerting the thief.... This way you will have the element of surprise on him... It would take a little bit of effort to setup correctly but once in place would give you a huge advantage over the thief

Hey Paul.... I know you do "IT" .... but more specifically what part of IT??? I too work in IT as do alot of people that seem to drive skylikes!!!! and I find it curious to find out what areas people find there way into... Is it a desktop support type of position? ( Assuming becuase its only a few days a week )

Can you just find someone with a front half cut locally? I would imagine that would hold all the parts you would need? The only concern I would imagine is the age of the gearbox in the car??? Are you looking for a standard gearbox or something more performance orientated ( not that there is anything wrong with the skyline gearbox at all ) Just a thought anyways.... Brett

Nengun is someone that used to live in Perth but moved to japan. He has a little business selling aftermarket parts over there.... I recently bought my FMIC and AVC-R from him. He ships the parts pretty quickly and you can potentially save alot of money buying through someone like himself as opposed to buying the parts locally.

I visited Ross this morning.... very helpfull .... I think I will opt for the 9 puck. It costs a little more but I think it will be worth it. Now just have to get the cash and book a time.

Does anyone have any photo's while you guys were at the Dam???? As you know ( or could probably smell ) we had to give up at the start of the cruise due to a dead clutch.... We just managed to limp home ( car cant rev above 2000 now ) so I am glad we pulled out and didn't get stuck half way along the cruise. Am dissapointed to have missed this one though, would have been good to get to know some of you more

Hmmm thanks for the suggestions guys.... Powerwise, so far I have got a turbo back exhaust, air pod and now a FMIC and boost controller. I dont know what the exact power output is but I am sure that will give you a idea of my power levels.... I plan on going on the cruise on sunday, hopefully I can get to chat to some of you guys a bit better about what I should be getting.... I haven't driven a car with a tough clutch before so I don't know what to expect. I have just heard that they are a b!tch to drive... I will probably give Ross a call tomorrow or Monday to get an idea on my options .... Hmmm if it is cheap enough I may be swayed to get a lightened flywheel at the same time .... Must get it sorted early next week though so I can get my AVC-R tuned and my car dyno'd ... a bit hard at the moment with a slipping clutch!!!! Thanks again guys... And let those ideas keep comming!!!!

Yeah well I knew I had a problem before but I didnt know it was the clutch slipping..... now I just installed my FMIC and AVC-R and obviously I cant wind the boost up with my slipping clutch!!!! I want to get it sorted as soon as I possibly can!!!! I will dig up Hicks thread too!!!! Soo far I was recommended a 5 Puck single plate clutch??? Does this sound about right??? Will that be able to hold the power I will be running and retain my current driveability ( standard clutch )

Help!!!! My clutch is stuffed and is slipping big time!!!! I need to source a new clutch ASAP..... The problem is I don't know what clutch I should get nor where I should get it from... If anyone can give me recommendations for a good clutch that will give good performance and drivability and perhaps where I can get them on short notice that would be great thanks!!! On a more serious note though.... getting things fixed like the brake lights fixed are well worth it.... Those are the sorts of things that can get the cops attention pretty quickly.... unless of course if you are sliding donw the road sideways or something like that, then the brake light is probably negligable

For the record you are correct, about the pretty part that is ( No suck up comments required please ) Hehe yeah valentines day can be a bit depressing for all the singles amongst us. Also being recently single I can understand exactly what Nizmo is saying. This is my first valentines alone for 5 years now.... And in the last month or so have been to two of my friends engagement parties... Makes ya think... On the plus side I didn't have to rack my brain this year for the perfect present again...

Hmm I am assuming this one is directed at me.... I havent touched the car since I have had it, but from what I can gather its got a full turbo back exhaust ( I beleive HKS but would like to confirm this at some stage ) , a HKS air pod and some small suspsension/handling upgrades. It seems to have alot of go for what it has though. It makes me wonder if there is something else that I cant see that has been done to it???? Even against other skylines with similar mods I tend to pull away, especially in 3rd. That gear is superb....
