  1. cool info guys ! this saves me a lot of stress !!! i am going to take haltech out, install the new inj, do the correction and take it to where it needs to go
  2. i honestly just need it moving so it dosent get towed hehehe
  3. meh, that was what i figured, i am actually changing ecu to the haltech platinum 2000, i just wanted car running so i can take it out of garage to work on the other one. thnx.
  4. just so we are on same page, yes i need a retune since i added new injectors, or yes i can drop them in and move car ? thnx in advance !!
  5. Ok i have a power fc, i used paulr33 excellent faq and i know how i need to correct for the larger injectors i have (1000cc) but do i need a retune one i install them or no ? i am changing NOTHING AT ALL but the injectors, no more boostr nothing, i do have a larger turbo i will be installing, but right now i just need car moving any advice ? and of course once i install the larger turbo i will be getting it tuned !
  6. my friend has on his is300 turbo, in the states, and no tuner likes them they all literally said its a pos, and i mean multiple reputable tuners have said this
  7. i thought of doing an arc air box in my s14 but idk how it will work with my manifold i am interested in this though, i hear air box is far supperior to pod
  8. AEM uses a progressive boost dependent sensor for their meth kit honestly its a decent looking kit, but i also want the zex turbo nitrous kit too hahaha in the us we can get 93 and sometimes 94 at the pump
  9. ok i have been searching this for a while and i came up with two answers for this one is that the rb25det uses a 10x1.25 thread and one that it uses a 12x1.25 can anyone verify either of these ? also i am using a isis short shifter but i would imagine it uses oem threading
  10. i did this two ways, first was with a rb26 stock rail, running a rb26 pfc on my rb25 and it was ok til a pinhole in rail made it a flamethrower, i used custom brackets to hold the rail to the intake ( i have a custom intake with rb25 lower halve) than i used a ebay fuel rail for use with stock rb26 inj, we modified the mounting tab and drilled new holes and it now works wonderful
  11. i actually have the capability to do the ait sensor since i have one i just need to install it before the TB, but why wouldi set the voltage to 50% ? gunna try it just curious why that would fix it, also i can wire the afms parallel, all he pfc does is take the value and divide by two, it does the same thing with the 02 sensors
  12. ok i am running a rb26 pfc on a rb25, the afm is wired in parallel to a single z32 afm, and the o2 sensors are wired in parellel. my first issue is that when my car ran it idled at around 1500 rpm but it was constant, for some odd reason it perfered to be set on STANDARD r33 and not vg30 afm, now the car would run though. than for some reason the fuel pump stopped getting power so i decided to hard wire it in with a relay, the signal is coming from the radio harness, so when i turn the acc on the fuel pump will stay on, not llike normal where it primes for a second than stops and now when i i try and start it it tries to rev but than it dies out fast, i know the car is super rich since i am using a rb26 harness and the 440s on a single rb25 turbo so i tried to lower the fuel pressure but my gauge broke so i stopped, i tried reseting the pfc and doing the initial startup for idle but it dies out immediabely, i have no boost leaks either, i am stumped how can i lean out the fuel and what can i do to make it idle again, should i put the car in closed loop ? also i did disable the boost control feature too i have a wideband 02 also, and the car never goes 11 afr
  13. very interested, do you have an US dealers ?
  14. also highly interested in a bolt on solution to twin rb26 turbos, as well as dyno or pics and specs
  15. yeah i know that only one wire goes to the ecu plug so i assume its a ground, any luck on wiring diagram, i do happen to have the two types of sensors on hand
  16. i was wondering the same thing, if u sold a bolt on, twin upgrade for the gtr ?
  17. i own avcr, and its the best, the blitz isnt that bad though with dual solenoids
  18. yeah i was looking for a diagram as we speak, i hope its a power ground think since the 25 is tied into lower harness and is grounded there
  19. if the two sensors read the same voltage i think it would work, if u just ran theknock senors directly to the ecu, using rb25 harness, going to rb26 ecu plug
  20. ok, i am running a rb226 harness on my rb25, and there are many differances, the biggest obstacle in front of me is the knock sensor harness and sensor them selves, on the rb25 the harness is intergrated into the lower harness, and they are green, on the rb26 they are black with a bolt through them, my first question can i splice my old sensors into the rb26 harness, or should i run the rb26 sensors, on top of that, does any other motor cross refence to the knock sensor harness since i do not have a rb26 harness perhaps a sr or ca ? any advice or input is apprecited, also i am running a power fc, so i know that i dont need the sensor (pfc does not retard timing like stock ecu) but i want it for the exta safety ( i have a wideband o2 as well as a egt sensor)
  21. i thought all aftermarket cams were drop in with no adjustments
