  1. i had trouble with the lil plastic bushing being too small, so i bought the metal one from cusco and i will see how it goes, i got a real leather nismo (fismo) boot also with red stitching to match my car
  2. ahh i was just going to say that !!! so for my setup i will need 2 of these (one for AIT, and one for coolant temp sensor, so i still need the other coolant temp sensor (with spade terminal on it) and oil pressure switch (thats for a differant problem i have ) woohoo this just made my day which was going bad sofar awesome ( i was late to work, i missed breakfast, and i forgot my lunch money)
  3. ahh perfect my only issue now is to find the coolant temp sensor since i dont have any right now!! anyone got a part # or pics of coolant temp ?
  4. which coolant temp sensor ? i dont have a rb26 to check with but i got a rb26 harness and pfc on my rb25 heh i read this somewhere else but i couldnt find out which coolant temp sensor, and a nissan part # would be amazing for both parts (the ait and the coolant temp sensor or even the coolant temp sensor that reads both) also pics will help !!
  5. check coil packs you might of coooked one
  6. i dont not have a rb26 air temp sensor, but i read that its the same as a coolant temp sensor any truth to that i dont have one to compare with can someone check that out for me ?
  7. TTT, anyone got part nums for those sensors , AIT, the 2 water temp ones, and oil pressure, i am going to try the mazda one but a nissan one wont hurt either !!
  8. ok i appreciate it, i got some linked some where hmm not sure on SAU policy on linking on other forums but here is what i got http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/318574
  9. r33 GTR, it sucks cause i dont know where half of the plugs even go so i need to break out toner and mark what each plug is for
  10. its a l jetro that still uses MAFS for a r32/33 gtr, yeah my issue is that i have 740cc inj for a rb25 and i dont wanna have to buy new inj so i was told if i dont use resistor box i would be ok ( i was told the 26 uses low imp and the resistor box makes them low imp, so if i dont run the box i will be high imp) , i am gunna look into that air temp sensor now, so basically, the water temp sensors, oil switch, are from KA, the air temp is mazda, and as far as IAC goes, i know the gtr uses a 4 bolt on compared to the 3 bolt on the rb25, but the rb25 has 2 plugs , how many does the rb26 have ?
  11. I am having a particullary odd dilemma. For one i have a R33 Series 2 RB25DET, that when i blew 3 ringlands i decided to build it up. It currently has a RB26 crank, with Forged pistons and rods. It also has the RB26 twin turbo setup installed. For engine management i was going to run the Haltech e6k but opted to run the POWER FC. Its from a RB26 though, and since i have 740cc RB25 inj i need to remove the resistor box, i was told by some people to just remove it all togeather, and some said to just terminate all the ends on the harness from the resistor box. I am completely unsure about what i need to do heh. Any suggestions ? Also since i am using the RB26 power fc, i am not sure if all my sensors are the same as the rb25 namely the Oil pressure sensor, the two coolant temp sensors, i know the IAC is diff bewteen the 25 and 26 but do they use same plugs ? also i need a AIT sensor (air intake temp) does this part exist on another car i could source or can i get away with out running it at all. With those sensors are they the same on the SR or the KA or VG or does anyone have a part number for any of those as in the nissan part i appreciate any help !! here is my project linked from another forum i visit if anyone is interested http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=295315&page=1 please any help even if your sellign those parts let me kno !!!
  12. now that i didnt know, refering to the combustion chambers, i am running a rb26 crank, with machined rods from thagards speed shop, and wiseco 87mm rb26 pistons so i am at 8.0ish, i would love to be 9.0 but the vvt issue really converns me, do u think it would be wiser to just keep the nvcs that is on the rb25, and use the neos solid lifters, and buy the tomei procams which require solid lifters
  13. ahh yeah the other pics u gotta copy and paste hehe... hmm this sux for me now hehe, at least i get solid lifters out of the deal
  14. hmm i was told it has it on exh as well as the intake hmmmm here aresome pics of the head
  15. OK, for my insane build i am gunna be getting another Head, basically a NEO head for a couple reason 1) Solid Lifters 2) Can get it machined with less downtime 3) VVT Ok, my questions are will there be any issues with head stud location using this new head ? or oil and water lines ? also wut about the wiring for the vvt, i know the sii has NVCS which is only on inlet cam and the neo has it both, also i am not using a stock ecu i am using a haltch e6k, my plan is to get the head, take to machine shop get it polished, ported, remove squish area (per JUN) ...actually gunna do EXACTLY wut they did as listed here http://www.junauto.co.jp/processing/rb26/index.html html, but withouy all the fancy jazz will the head bolt on and will the vvt be working with minor wiring or any at all
